We've just returned from our 4th trip to Coco Reef, once again feeling relaxed, refreshed and happy. I'll be brief, if you want to be pampered, spoilt, and eat good food attended to by warm and wonderful staff this is the place to be. Comfortable and stylish, albeit a little tired but without the bling! This is its charm! Eric... More

Prior to travelling to Tobago, my family and I undertook extensive research on TripAdvisor and various other Caribbean review website. The reality is the Coco Reef was in fact better than we anticipated. We had just arrived from an adventure holiday in Guyana and was looking for some R&R. We walked to the hotel from the airport, literally 10-mins. Although... More

Have been to Coco Reef before about 3 years ago and always knew we would go back! Just as good this time. Great food locally sourced, really friendly place, safe to walk out of the grounds into the local community,oh and the lagoon on the beach area is amazing so warm, safe from any waves and great snorkelling near the rocks!... I frequently stay at the Coco Reef hotel in Tobago. The hotel is old colonial caribbean with a wonderful atmosphere, a private(small beach), outstanding staff and a brilliant bar/restaurant . Not a place to spend weeks but for a few nights its a stunning little location with a complement of cheerful staff and quirky goings on with excellent food and... More

Having had a wonderful holiday last year, we wondered if the second visit would be a let down? We needn't have worried... it was even better. Super friendly and helpful staff who clearly enjoy both their work and talking to guests. We had a premium sea view room ( 237 ) it was excellent for surf, sunsets, humming birds and... More

This is apparently the best hotel on the island, well not from where I was looking, it is clean and tidy, but if you want a 80's experience then you will be fine. It was chintzy and tired. There's not much to do in the local area so make sure you go all inclusive

Let's start by saying that we had a lovely week's holiday at Coco Reef - very relaxed and we spent a great week just 'limin' as they say there. The 'Hits' of the Coco Reef are its location, right on a lovely beach with its own lagoon for perfect swimming and paddling, proximity to the airport (5 minutes but no... More

Good news first. The customer service at this location is the best on the island, the staff is attentive and professional. But the facilities are severely outdated. The linens in the room were dingy with a musty odor. The sheets on the bed were the incorrect size, so the mattress was exposed. The drapes and shower curtains were stained and... More

Stayed at the coco reef over new year for one week . This hotel obviously lives on past glory has lots of pictures of stars with owner in internet room. It needs a total refurbishment as everything is tired and grubby - bedding ,curtains , bathroom and restaurant , cheap beach loungers towels . Gym equipment broken , Food is... More

Stayed 5 nights over Christmas weekend with extended family. The rooms are a little dated (think Blanche's bedroom) but generally clean and comfortable. Beautiful views, great balcony, the grounds are gorgeous with all the landscaping and the private beach is worth it. Breakfast was included in the room rate, same spread everyday but good variety with eggs cooked to order... More
