You don't have to be a fugitive on the run to stay at this place, but it helps.... This place probably stopped being a holiday resort 30 years ago and that is being kind. It is best suited for Trini tradespeople needing a place to stay for a few days while working on various Tobago resorts. It is incredibly close... More

Great for the price. We had everything we needed to cook, chill, sleep. Pool was a nice size and private enough and was open all night (could have been a bit cleaner though). Rooms were okay, bathrooms would've been better en-suite, but again, not a big issue. No major complaints. Really good location too. Will visit again if in a... More

I've stayed here a couple times and once you get past this whole "high expectation" thing then things will be ok. Yeah sure the pool is scruffy looking and the rooms could be better in terms of furnishing but when you think of it, it's what you're paying for. This place is great if you're on a budget and chilling... More

James Holiday Resort will benefit from a makeover and better management. I stayed there with my younger sister and a married couple for 8 days for the carnival week. It was a last minute booking, so we were expecting all resorts to be full, however we were quite shocked to learn that James Holiday Resort still had rooms available. We... More

James Holiday Resort is the renowned woorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssssssst place I've been to. I was so disappointed. The sheets and pillow sacs are washed thin till u can see the colour of the mattress and pillows. You can hear persons as clear as day outside your room. The bathroom is terrible, not clean, has no soap, no towels, shampoo........JUST NOTHING!!!!!! the room... More

This is hands down the worst place i ever stayed in Tobago! not only is it NOT WORTH THE PRICE, but the manager and cleaning staff was unfriendly to my family and other customers. The place was filthy, moss growing all around the pool, the "mini mart" was closed for most of the time we spent there and please beware... More

I am a Trinidadian who wanted accommodation for a quick weekend break with my family in our beautiful sister isle of Tobago. After making several calls, the only resort which had space for the 12 of us was James Holiday Resort. The day before we left home, I called to confirm that towels and linens were available. Lo and behold... More
