What a lovely and restful hotel. Peaceful surroundings and easy access to all the Crown Point has. Excellent restaurant and very capable and helpful staff. The daily yoga or tai chi sessions were a great bonus and were superbly run

We have stayed here several times before, and it is always reassuringly the same. The service from the owner and her lovely staff is friendly and smiling; they are always willing to provide that little extra that makes it personal. We like the garden rooms; they are quieter than the poolside rooms and have their own private outside space as... More

I love the 24hrs access to the pool. I enjoyed having late night swims. It is located near the airport and various car rentals. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Overall the hotel was very relaxing and it was a nice experience.

We stumbled on this place by accident as our intention was to go somewhere completely different. When We stopped to ask directions to where we originally intended to go we were told quite pointedly don't go there at night go during the day & after a little discussion when she realised we were looking for somewhere to eat she told... We ended up arriving here after the hotel we initially booked turned out to be deserted. Our taxi driver recommended Kariwak and I am so happy he did. The property is very well designed and the rooms are laid out as separate huts around the pool or in the extensive garden area. The dining areas are open air and everything... More

The experience at Kariwak was impressive. My stay was very short but everything was so convenient..from the 5 minute walk from the airport to the free shuttle to Pigeon Point. Great hotel for an authentic Tobagonian experience, including great service, fresh fruit and vegetables, live entertainment. The two highlights of my short two-day stay were the food and my morning... More

We return to Kariwak again and again each year -- and are always greeted by the same wonderfully warm Kariwak family! The accommodations are clean and simple -- the pool rooms are a personal favorite! The rooms we stayed in on this trip had been recently updated with new air conditioning, lovely new sheer curtains and pretty patterned opaque ones... More

Visited 2002/2003/2004, so it was time to go back................ The whole place still revolves around Cynthia Clovis, but the food and ambience are top notch (I love the rosemary bread on Fri & Sats with the buffets.) Complimentary morning yoga M-F with additional evening and weekend sessions, plus massage options (Anastasia's Swedish massage was excellent). Shuttle to Pigeon Point Beach... More

I'm in Tobago regularly and this is my favorite place for breakfast! Great service and excellent food. Very calm and relaxing scene. They even have yoga classes through the wk. Room prices too high for me but will come to restaurant to eat and do yoga! Coconut Bake ;)

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Kariwak. Unfortunately, what you experienced were rain flies, which are a natural phenomenon and very common in Trinidad & Tobago and many countries in the Caribbean during rainy season. Regarding the water pressure, we do wish you had alerted us to the problem so it could have been immediately... More
