Wonderful gem of a hotel. Spitting distance from Segovia. A gastronomic delight. Spa on site. It was a discovery by chance. Now we would make a point to come and stay here as the reason to return to Segovia. This is not a rural hotel. The rooms are more than comfortably appointed though it's not a luxury hotel. Spacious grounds... More

We paid 145 € for a last minute night away for 2 including a simple but very good breakfast and dinner in the lovely restaurant where the food and service are first class. It is a very attractive and well maintained hotel complex with gardens and a small but beautiful swimming pool. The rooms are spotless and large. Plus dogs... More

Wow! Impressive in it´s entirely. It is only 15 minute drive from Segovia . Everything about Hotel El Rancho was superb ... especially the rooms. We didn´t use the spa ... but every room was like a suite with a double bed, sofa, desk and balcony. The dining rooms were beautiful. As an aside I have never known such water... More

I stayed here for 5 nights. 4 nights in the very nice part of the hotel and one night in La Posada which is separate but part of the complex. The main hotel was lovely, lots of space to walk around. The rooms were very nice and had air conditioning. La Posada is very, very different. I would not have... More

I stayed here as part of a group booking for an English immersion programme and the setting was ideal for these purposes. There were plenty of areas in and around the hotel to sit and chat and a nice bar area serving coffee and drinks. My room was spacious with its own balcony (and view of the mountains) and a... More

I have just returned from a 5 night break here with an English immersion program and I am happy to say it is a lovely hotel. The bar, restaurant and general hotel areas are clean and well managed. The room was delightful with a bath, shower and a balcony. There was even a sofa in the room so you could... More

I tried very hard and did a lot of research to find a quiet romantic hotel for my husband and I's 25th wedding anniversary. I obviously missed the review which stated how noisy this hotel is. We booked for two nights, the Friday and Saturday, along with half of Madrid. There is absolutely no sound proofing in the way of... More

I stayed in the Posada at El Rancho as part of an organised English conversation programme for Spaniards. It was a great venue for this - the rooms were very comfortable, there were good communal areas for group activities as well as places to sit, drink and walk for the individual conversation sessions. There is a small gym and a... More

I spent five nights here in April with the Vaughan Systems group so my comments apply to a group booking and may not pertain to individual travellers. Other reviews have mentioned the bathroom amenities such as bath salts. My room, #14, had nothing but shampoo - No shower cap, tissues, etc but it was a fine bathroom with a big... More

This last trip I decided to stay just 10 kms away from Segovia at El Rancho de la Aldehuela. It is part of a wider property including shops, restaurante and a lower end hotel, La Posada. Rooms are huge, nicely decorated and some of them include a wide terrace with country views. Prices are more than reasonable and breakfast is... More
