I stayed here as part of a group booking for an English immersion programme and the setting was ideal for these purposes. There were plenty of areas in and around the hotel to sit and chat and a nice bar area serving coffee and drinks. My room was spacious with its own balcony (and view of the mountains) and a... More

I have just returned from a 5 night break here with an English immersion program and I am happy to say it is a lovely hotel. The bar, restaurant and general hotel areas are clean and well managed. The room was delightful with a bath, shower and a balcony. There was even a sofa in the room so you could... More

I tried very hard and did a lot of research to find a quiet romantic hotel for my husband and I's 25th wedding anniversary. I obviously missed the review which stated how noisy this hotel is. We booked for two nights, the Friday and Saturday, along with half of Madrid. There is absolutely no sound proofing in the way of... More

I stayed in the Posada at El Rancho as part of an organised English conversation programme for Spaniards. It was a great venue for this - the rooms were very comfortable, there were good communal areas for group activities as well as places to sit, drink and walk for the individual conversation sessions. There is a small gym and a... More

I spent five nights here in April with the Vaughan Systems group so my comments apply to a group booking and may not pertain to individual travellers. Other reviews have mentioned the bathroom amenities such as bath salts. My room, #14, had nothing but shampoo - No shower cap, tissues, etc but it was a fine bathroom with a big... More

This last trip I decided to stay just 10 kms away from Segovia at El Rancho de la Aldehuela. It is part of a wider property including shops, restaurante and a lower end hotel, La Posada. Rooms are huge, nicely decorated and some of them include a wide terrace with country views. Prices are more than reasonable and breakfast is... More

We had a great week enjoying great food and superb conference facility. The rooms was spacious but the walls was thin and you could here some noise next door. The quality of the food was great and plentiful and you could taste the fruit in the house wine. The suckling pig was cooked to perfection. The individual salads was too... More

Rooms are large, like suites with a sofa and small balcony, staff were helpful and the food was also quite nice in their restaurant. The surrounds are also picturesque and worth to stay if visiting Segovia

....personal space to relax in within the very well appointed room, as well as a quiet garden area just outside (i did have a ground floor room). Plenty of walks within the area, though the thinner air (mountainous region) was a bit of a problem for me. The food was good, though some of the portions were daunting, with an... More
