We stayed at the Calli for one night during a tour mainly to break up our journey from Oaxaca to San Cristobal. We were warned by our tour company that this hotel was not of the same standard as others on the tour which we feel was a very fair assessment. The building looked more like a prison block than... This hotel at best described as basic and very tired. We were warned by our tour operator that we were only spending one night to break a long journey so we weren't expecting too much and weren't disappointed. Our room had just the basic facilities (no coffee making facilities) the air conditioning did not work the rooms were not particularly... More

This hotel can only be at best described as basic. Our tour operator(Virgin Holidays) had warned us that we were only spending one night to break a long journey so we weren't expecting too much and weren't disappointed. Our room consisted of 2 double beds with a chair, chest of drawers and an old TV. It had a/c but no... More

As has been noted earlier, this motel is about half way between Oaxaca and San Cristobal. It is fairly clean, but the rooms are showing their wear. Nice reception and bar areas. Our beds were really "springy", squeaking when you turned over.

Only stayed one night in this hotel so can only comment on a limited time. The hotel is a bit drab but the staff are friendly. The rooms are basic and a bit miserable to look at but they have firm but large beds.shower is hot and soap and shampoo provided. One bottle of drinking water provided.there is a hair... More

This Hotel seems to be a must when traveling from Oaxaca towards San Cristobal. It is a typical kind of US American style resort. Nicely maintained garden but the rest looks like being "specialized" on one night stands for never come backs. Rooms are run down, aircon smells and the restaurant is totally overpriced. E.g. same Tequila here is more... More

Travelling from Oaxaca by car, this was the obvious place to stop on our first night. Stopped on our way back too. Clean comfortable room, beautiful gardens. Had dinner there both nights - good reasonably priced menu. Not quite sure why the breakfast varied so much between stays: first time we were there it was dreadful - compulsory huge bowls... More

it looks that this is the only hotel on reasonable good level nearby this city. And there is not too much choice for you on the trip to/from Oaxaca / San Cristobal. We spent there only one night, but what we noticed, that the doors (or maybe locks) are very noisly and with echo on empty corridors you hear each... More

The restaurant was hideously overpriced and the staff there unhelpful and frankly rude. The hotel itself was basic and okay for a short stay. We were in the ground floor with a tiny balcony. The pool was covered in a layer of slime and not refreshing after a long hot day.

I've stayed at the Calli many times in the past, but this recent trip, with friends, landed us in a very reasonably priced suite that was newly remodeled. Two rooms, king bed, large sofa bed and a roll-in bed, plus glass-topped card table, fridge, great air cobn and TWO big-screened TV. The price for three of us was 500 pesos... More
