Stayed there one night and took a safari trip to Tsavo, But one of the most exciting things I enjoyed was our view was spectacular from our room. We stayed at the red elephant for a one night stopover enroute to malindi. The lodge is just before the voi gate and neighbours the more popular Voi wildlife lodge. To our surprise we were the only guests in the entire lodge. It seemed like a place that does not have many visitors. Becasue we were the only guests food... More

Stayed here for one night whilst on a Safari trip to Tsavo East. Basic but really comfortable, authentic lodges . Our 'Bush house' overlooked a small watering hole-unfortunately we didn't see any elephants there on our stay, but I have seen from the photographs that they do make impromptu appearances, so you may catch them there if your lucky!
