Stayed here for 3 nights to explore the Maasai Mara with friends. Spent one night in the basic tent-by basic we had a double bed each! After this we were in the luxury tent, as this is required for the safari package. The luxury tent was amazing-with four poster beds, ensuite bathroom, dressing table, and balcony overlooking the Talek river,... More

Thouroughly enjoyed my stay here. We stayed in the so called "luxury tents" which were all very clean and well attended to. The food was always excellent and they easily adapted every meal to allergies and intolerances. The staff was always super helpful and pretty much everything worked out very well. The only complaint I have is that the water... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our five nights (we extended by one night) at Aruba. We self-drove there and cooked some for ourselves and ate in the restaurant some of the time too. Service was great and Alex who was managing the camp in the owner's absence couldn't have been more accommodating as well as being thoroughly charming. We did game drives... More

This was my first stay at the Aruba Camp after staying at larger camps on previous trips. I was very pleasantly surprised from the beginning. I could not have asked for the staff to be any more attentive to my needs. They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The tents were clean and in good repair.... More

We have our own tent and driver/cook, so we stayed at the campsite. Only 1 other tent there, space enough. Friendly people, nightguard, perfect. You have to order food in advance otherwise there will be nothing in the restaurant. No shop here, you have to bring everything yourself from Narok. Shower with hot water and toilets are a hole in... I stayed here for one night in the self-tent area with my Maasai guides. It was lovely. There is a restaurant and bar and you can sit right at the river and watch the animals come down to drink in the evening. There is a nice firepit, which is lit every evening. The food was excellent - and there is... More

I stayed on two occasions at Aruba Mara on my recent trip to Kenya....staying a total of 16 nights. I hadn't been here before and was very pleased I had used this camp as an option. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and very well presented. The portion size was good for me but maybe... More

We stayed here for 6 nights in late August and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Aruba-Mara is a very well-run camp and the staff really go the extra mile to assist you by helping with taxis etc. The manager, Peter, was consistently polite and patient and dealt with all matter of queries and concerns. The camp is very... More

Aruba Mara Camp review Considering that many safari camps either cost you your mortgage or are out-and-out dumps, this place is perfect. They have a campsite for those with their own tent / camper which charges €5 per night, bush tents (huge walk in tents with a 4 poster bed and mozzie net) for €50, more luxurious walk-in ' big...
