We had a great stay at the Aruba Mara. The staff was very nice, the food was excellent and the accommodations perfect. We stayed in what they call a luxury tent. Yes it looks a bit worn, but this is the bush so I was not expecting perfect. The setting overlooking the river was wonderful. Beautiful patio and dining area.... More

We stayed in a "bush tent" at Aruba for 3 nights in September and had a wonderful time for the best price available in the whole of the Mara in my opinion. Although the camp isn't inside the park itself it is right by Talek gate which makes early game drives easy. There are no fences, so the park "boundary"... More

We have been there for three years in a row, usually in August. I have just come back from a 2 night camping stay. The grounds were lovely and all the staff came over to say hello and were so welcoming. Being 3 young girls, even the owner and the staff helped out my tent up! They have recently put... More

We camped here for one night with our overland outfitter. It's beautiful - the showers were HOT and immaculate. You could tell the owners and staff cared by how well they took care of the grounds. It's located on the edge of the reserve so rising for an early game drive was easy. We also enjoyed the calls of the... More

Aruba Safaris was absolutely brilliant, from the moment we touched down on the landing strip we were taken such good care of. I can see a lot of the reviews on this site are in German but we were wholly welcomed as Brits, the camp is amazing value and the safaris are the best I have ever done, we saw... More

Stayed here for 3 nights to explore the Maasai Mara with friends. Spent one night in the basic tent-by basic we had a double bed each! After this we were in the luxury tent, as this is required for the safari package. The luxury tent was amazing-with four poster beds, ensuite bathroom, dressing table, and balcony overlooking the Talek river,... More

Thouroughly enjoyed my stay here. We stayed in the so called "luxury tents" which were all very clean and well attended to. The food was always excellent and they easily adapted every meal to allergies and intolerances. The staff was always super helpful and pretty much everything worked out very well. The only complaint I have is that the water... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our five nights (we extended by one night) at Aruba. We self-drove there and cooked some for ourselves and ate in the restaurant some of the time too. Service was great and Alex who was managing the camp in the owner's absence couldn't have been more accommodating as well as being thoroughly charming. We did game drives... More

This was my first stay at the Aruba Camp after staying at larger camps on previous trips. I was very pleasantly surprised from the beginning. I could not have asked for the staff to be any more attentive to my needs. They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The tents were clean and in good repair.... More

We have our own tent and driver/cook, so we stayed at the campsite. Only 1 other tent there, space enough. Friendly people, nightguard, perfect. You have to order food in advance otherwise there will be nothing in the restaurant. No shop here, you have to bring everything yourself from Narok. Shower with hot water and toilets are a hole in...
