I stayed at Brook Meadow a few months ago. I did say that while I enjoyed my stay, the big letdown was having a TV the size of a medium mammal in my room! Since I was back in the same area on business, I decided to stay at Brook Meadow again ( despite the TV! ). Well, having contacted... More

On one of the hottest days of the year last week, we were delighted to share a lovely lunch with several friends at the Brook Meadow Hotel. After a drink on arrival in the cosy, well furnished lounge, we were taken through to our favourite circular table in the cool of the air conditioned conservatory restaurant, where we all enjoyed... We stayed two nights on half board at a very competative rate, but felt perhaps a few pounds more per night could improve one or two shortfalls. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. The bar prices were competitive especially at happy hour and there were acceptable wines at reasonable prices. The public areas and gardens are lovely and the... More

I stayed here for two nights with family. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed drinks in the afternoon sun on the terrace. The evening meal was very nice and meant we didn't have to travel anywhere. While the beds were a little uncomfortable our room had everything we needed. Breakfast offered a selection of nice food. Each evening we... More

Sadly our visit was spoiled by uncomfortable beds in rooms 203 and 208. The springs in the mattresses felt as though they were protruding through the cover resulting in a poor night's sleep on the Friday night. On Saturday night we all slept on top of our duvets. We reported this at reception so hopefully new mattresses will be installed.... More

We stayed here for two nights, it was a lovely old house, the room was clean, the staff very friendly and the breakfasts were very nice and cooked to order. The house itself could do with some decorating as was a little tired looking, the gardens were lovely. All in all a nice place to stay.

We were allowed to book in early, and was greeted by smiling helpful staff. The rooms were spot on, comfy bed, tea & coffee facilities, twin basin sinks and a deep bath with a good strong shower overhead. Breakfast was plentiful in choice of pastries, cereals or cooked. We had cooked and it was tasty and cooked very well. The... More

When we arrived here the building looks like a lovely old building. Inside the décor is excellent and really does keep in with the rustic feel. If you like modern and white rooms this place probably isn't for you but if you enjoy character you will like it. Our room had original sash windows which were lovely. The staff here... More

We stayed for two nights, Friday & Saturday, booking the shop till drop offer. Was picked for location to Cheshire Oaks (10 minute drive away), but actually handy for other areas like Chester, Chester Zoo and other visitor attractions. On arrival greeted by nice looking black & white character building (which later found out had some history to it). On... More

We have stayed here a number of times and are just unable to critisise the quality and cleanliness of the rooms in any way. Our evening meal was well cooked and very satisfying. Breakfast was also of a similar standard. The service was excellent at my evening celebration with 16 people around trhe table nobody was kept waiting nor had... More
