Is the perfect place to stay if you are in Niseko for skiing. We had a double room, very nice, clean and hot. The breakfast is served from 7 am which is good if you need go skiing. The staff is very helpful and kind. I totally suggest this place.

My friend and I stayed at the Australia House for 4 nights during our trip to Hokkaido and it was really great. It's right in the middle of everything. Super close walking distance to the mountain and also to restaurants and bars as well, the bus stop is also right down the road so you don't have to carry luggage... More

My boyfriend and I needed to book 3 nights somewhere in Niseko because our current hotel didn't have any room for us for these 3 days. We picked Australia House because it was very close to the slopes and seemed like a cozy place to stay. Cozy it is, you can share a big living room with other people and... More

Great location on the main road of town with access to shops and restaurants. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Accommodation clean and tidy. Breakfast was basic but did the job before heading onto the mountain.

Location is superb. Breakfast served daily more than adequate. Facilities were clean and all working. It's a B&B so don't think you'll get 5* hotel rooms, which is why i said average, but the beds were very comfortable, and enough room to put all your clothes and kit, and there is also the option to put them in the room... A very good option ... as a clean and functional "base camp" for your skiing in Niseko. The location is absolutely perfect with close access to several of Grand Hirafu's best restaurants, the Ace family lift (that opens 8:15), Niseko physio (in the basement), the shopping mart across the street, great coffee (Odin's place), Rhythm and Niseko 343 for rentals... You can't do much better for this price. The rooms are nice and comfortable as is the common room. You're right across the street from the convenience store for cheap meals and booze but there are myriad restaurants/bars within a 5 minute walk as well. It's a 5 minute walk to the lift too. You can't do much better for... More

We stayed four nights here in January and the location is fantastic - very close to the main intersection in Niseko Hirafu. Only a five minute flat walk to the Family chair lift so very convenient for getting on the slopes quickly and central for all the restaurants and bars. Room was a good size, unfortunately the mattresses on the... More

It's basically an advanced hostel. Its great for price+location. The room (private double bed) was super comfortable (love those little cocoon beds). Breakfast was simple but great every morning. Owner (Sunnai?) called two taxi companies at the last minute to help us get a ride to the aiport for a 7am ride. She was awesome. Wish they had a better... More

Dear sfjuggernaut, we would like to thank you for your feedback on Australia House. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer large storage areas for guests due to limited space available on the first floor. However, we always do our best to find flexible solutions for guests in case luggage is delivered by mail or needs to be stored temporarily... More
