The hotel is a wonderful oasis to return to after a full day of skiing. Slide into a pair of slippers, take a trip to one of the two private onsen, lounge by the communal fireplace with a glass of wine and one of their many books. Peter and Morino are so friendly and helpful with anything you might need.... More

We stayed at Kimamaya whilst on honeymoon. A beautiful design boutique hotel in walking distance to everything in Niseko - lifts, shops, restaurants. We were greeted in our with a bottle of bubbly with snow instead of ice bucket. The rooms are small but beautifully designed and very comfortable. There is tons of storage space for clothes and the room... More

Kimamaya Hotel is a wonderful hotel in Niseko. Beautifully designed, warm and cozy. Perfect for families or couples. We stayed in their very spacious loft suite. The upstairs loft has tatami mats and futons - our son loved it. The hotel itself has a lovely lounge area with a cozy fireplace and cafe bar. There is a great little room... More

My husband and I recently had a fantastic stay at Kimamaya. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious but at the same time very relaxed. Management and staff are friendly and professional, always going out of their way to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. A special thanks to Peter and Morino for making our trip memorable and Kimamaya... More

We stayed at Rm 6 between Feb. 13 to 20. Absolutely love the whole experience. We have never been to Niseko and weren't too sure what to expect. Peter and Morino were most helpful in making ALL the arrangement, including airport transfer with Sky Bus, Ski School, Lift passes, restaurant reservations, trip to Otaru, and many many more things.... We stayed at Kimamaya for a 4 days skiing. This is an excellent place to stay in Niseko for a number of reasons: - location: great location in town within walking distance to restaurants and bars but in a quiet street so no noise if you want to sleep - beautiful property: it feels like being at home with lots... I just finished up a week at Kimamaya, and everything about the experience was exceptional. I have no doubt its the best place to stay in the area. The hotel and rooms have a wonderful feel and ambiance- warm, clean, and very comfortable. It has great amenities , including a relaxing spa and very convenient ski locker room and gear... More

Our group of 6 from London just returned from staying at the fantastic Kimamaya. Everything was perfectly set in place before our arrival: airport transfers, dinner reservations, etc. all thanks to Peter and Morino's impeccable organisation and dedication. Dinner at The Barn the first night was a cosy experience - food was excellent. The speedy service getting us to and... More

Love this boutique hotel! We are thrilled to have been able to stay at Kimamaya this year while in Hirafu. It's so comfortable, the management is wonderful, friendly and completely knowledgeable on all that is important. There is an internal door to the Barn by Odin restaurant which is sooo nice so you can easily walk through for breakfast. After... More

Peter and Morino delivered amazing service and took exceptional care. The hospitality and accommodations were fantastic and offered a relaxing and comfortable transition from jet lag into powder skiing. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer to ski more of the Hokkaido pow and relax in the lounge with a glass of Nikka. If you have one... More
