This place is great if one prefers to be away from the crowd at hirafu. The atmosphere is like that of a Bed&Breakfast in the UK. Kudos to Justin, Hiro, Maki, Meko & Mr Koto who went the extra mile to make their guests feel at home :-) Breakfast is simple & adequate. It's true that one is fairly dependent... More

A great place to stay, away from the crowds of Hirafu. The staff are all excellent, offering advice on where to ski and eat. Because of it's quiet location they provide free shuttle buses to the slopes and local restaurants. The local restaurants in Kutchan are very good indeed. I had a large room which had all the usual amenities,... More

The Freedom Inn is in Hanazono which makes it special, as that part of Niseko is away from all the hustle and bustle of Hirafu. It's proximity to relatively uncrowded Hanazono and the ability to get first tracks there, but then connect to all the other areas of Niseko United at the top of the mountain are among its strong... I was supposed to stay at this hotel but had to cancel because of work. The owner was extremely understanding and was very nice to personally make arrangements for me. Trustworthy and reliable - will definitely recommend this place to all my friends!

Truly enjoy the winter holiday here. The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay very memorable. Especially with Ken, Justin, Matthew and few other staff. The staff assisted us in arranging for visits to the local public bath, restaurants and also train station. They did not just drop you at those locations, in fact, they make sure... More

My third stay at Freedom Inn Niseko in 3 years is starting to feel like an annual pilgrimage. The rooms and food are still homely, clean and comfortable. And it's the staff that again made the stay exceedingly enjoyable. Staying at Freedom Inn feels more like staying at the home of a bunch of young friends than in a hotel.... More

The inn is perfectly located for skiing the Hanazono section of the Niseko Resort. The staff and owners are very helpful in providing you with everything you need to know to make your stay enjoyable. This hotel is a bit isolated from the main action in the area but they provide shuttle service to main area so the location is... More

... having this said, nothing has really changed since 2009. Please be Aware that one Needs always a lift by the Hotel staff to get anywhere. Unless you have your own Transport. We would come back, in case we will visit Niseko again. Skiing is the best in Japan here.

This is a really great place to stay for easy access to Hanazono. The staff were helpful and provide a pick up service from the lifts. However this is really essential as the hotel is quite isolated. The rooms are pretty nice but I think they should improve the quality of the breakfast. Compared to other places I have stayed... More

We decided to go off-piste on our third trip, and leave our old favourite (Prince Hirafutei) after 3 nights for another hotel. I picked Freedom Inn after coming across its restaurant recommendations and seeing the good reviews here. I was concerned about its loneliness, stuck out almost on its own in Hanazono, but there are very good compensations. Firstly the... More
