I stayed 5 nights in December 2014 and had a great time. I booked online through booking.com and found the whole process easy, Miwa is a fantastic manager, very organised and accommodated my last minute change of plans. I booked a tatami room and found it warm and comfortable. Beds were as expected however the hard pillows were to much... More

I stayed at Pension Berg for 5 nights in mid December 2014. For the price I really cant ask for anything more. Location was great, right in the heart of town, short walks to the gondola, welcome centre and Ace Family lift 1. The bus stop to shuttle buses is just outside, and a convenience store just across the road.... More

Friendly and warm hearted family run bed & breakfast house. Cooked western breakfast with cereal & toast is served & there is a self serve tea counter in the reception open at all times. There's a coin operated clothes washer and dryer in the basement. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. A brother runs a ramen restaurant next... More

I stayed at Pension Berg for three weeks late feb to march and absolutely adored it. I had been to Hirafu previously and stayed in more westernised establishments. The touch of culture and the amazing staff made it a real experience. Simple living at its best but for the price you couldn't beat it. The place was immaculate and clean... More

For the price its hard to beat the location. Short walk to gonodla and to restaurants. Rooms are large, warm, and clean. Plenty of space in the dry room for your boots, boards, etc. Onsite onsen is adequate and saves you a trip out after a big day. The family who run it are super friendly and helpful with whatever... The super friendly family that run this pension makes this cosy ski hutt special. Hearty breakfast every morning sets you up for a days skiing. Hot onsen heals a tired muscles at the end of each day. The pension has great character to get immersed in Japanese culture aswell. 100% recommend staying here.

We stayed here for three nights and found Pension Berg to be the perfect location for skiing Niseko. If you're coming here for luxury, then think again, but if you're looking for a clean, well-equipped and well-managed base to stay, Pension Berg is absolutely perfect. The rooms are surprisingly large for Japan, have a sofa and TV for relaxing on... More

We were three friends sharing a western style room. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and enough for a day in the slopes. The shower room had a onsen. The location of this B&B could not be better. It is literarily on the slopes and next to a really good ramen place for nice food.... More
