The super friendly family that run this pension makes this cosy ski hutt special. Hearty breakfast every morning sets you up for a days skiing. Hot onsen heals a tired muscles at the end of each day. The pension has great character to get immersed in Japanese culture aswell. 100% recommend staying here.

We stayed here for three nights and found Pension Berg to be the perfect location for skiing Niseko. If you're coming here for luxury, then think again, but if you're looking for a clean, well-equipped and well-managed base to stay, Pension Berg is absolutely perfect. The rooms are surprisingly large for Japan, have a sofa and TV for relaxing on... More

We had the best family holiday ever. The staff are very frendly and the location of this pension are fantastic as it was very close to the lift. we stayed in japanese style room with tow banks, but the beds are very confortable and clean. The bath rooms are small, but there was onsen, which was quite hot ( I... More

We were three friends sharing a western style room. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and enough for a day in the slopes. The shower room had a onsen. The location of this B&B could not be better. It is literarily on the slopes and next to a really good ramen place for nice food.... More

So friendly, staff were first class, very helpful. best location cross the road and ski to the lift, short walk back, easy enough to go back for lunch, great food especially if you pay for a home cooked local dinner. Breakfasts are great, hot and plentiful, just what you need before a day on the mountain. Great value for what... More

We stayed here in a triple room for 5 nights. The place is in a great location with only a 3 min walk to the family ski run that takes you to the ski lifts. It is located in the upper village so really close to all of the bars and restaurants. The owners were ultra friendly with big smiles... More

Not a bad little place to stay on a budget. Location was great for ski in/out and easy walking distance to restaurants and the nearest convenience stores. We had a small western style twin room which had a small tv (all channels were Japanese). Walls were rather thin as we could hear our neighbours chatting in the rooms next door.... More

This was the third pension we stayed at in Niseko Hirafu. By far the best location, centrally located to the main streets. 5 minute walk from the chairlifts. Our Japanese style triple room was very spacious and the beds were very soft and comfortable. Like most pensions, the showers are shared so be wary of this, Breakfast was average compared... More

Fantastic place to stay. Great value for money as well. Very friendly staff who are wiling to help you out at almost any hour. For a little extra room, ask for a japanese style room, because they seem to be bigger in size. theres no difference between the beds found in a western room, as they are just a mattress... More
