This was my 11th year skiing at Niseko and in the past 8 years, I picked to stay at Hirafutei among others although there have been lots of new developments in the area. Excellent location as it's located right on the ski slope! I always love their staff as they are always smiling with great services. Some of them do... More

We are a group of 2 mothers and 2 daughters age~10. We planned to stay for 7 days, but extended to 9 nights as a result of the Earthquake. We checked in on the Thursday before the quake, and was advised to stay on in Niseko and avoid Tokyo. Throughout the aftermath of the earthquake, the hotel staff never once... More

We stayed at the Hirafutei from 14th-21st Feb 2011, so 7 nights. Staff seemed friendly enough, and would always try their best to help. The location is perfect, you just nip out the back of the hotel, down a walk way to the locker rooms, which seem very new, and then out onto the family run, which takes you to... More

This hotel was a very good ski in ski out facility in Niseko. We booked the room and meals package. The number of restaurants in the hotel was limited compared to Prince hotels in other Japanese ski resorts. The buffet they serve was good but we got bored by the end of the week. Besides, there were many nice restaurants... More

We stayed here during the Chinese New Year holiday (11-20 February) because our first choice the Alpen (which is a bit further up the road and closer to the main lif) was fully booked. The Prince was also quite full but they managed to fit us in. Rooms were larger than the Alpen and quite comfortable. Our room had an... More

I had previously stayed in the Yunokawa Prince Hotel in Hakodate, so I was excited to learn of another location in Niseko. Rooms with private onsens are normally quite expensive, and this chain offers a decent bargain. The only downside to this onsen is that the only shower in the room is the Japanese public-bath-style one located next to the... More

I've stayed here 2 yrs in a row and am planning to stay again next year. The location is great, with great amenities. You can watch the bunny slope from the comfort of the indoors on the lobby level. I traveled with my in-laws as well as my 1yr old daughter (they don't ski) and this is a great benefit.... More

This hotel is not cheap, but there are a few reasons why the price is justified. The rooms are simple, with tatami mat floors. We had a twin room with a private onsen overlooking the beginners slope, and sinking into that hot water after a day of skiing was magic. The shower is next to the onsen so you can... More

There is an onsen in the room. So nice! It's great that you can jump into the onsen after ski. More

The hotel is a typical Japanese hotel with selection of Japanese or Western Style bedrooms. There is public onsen (with 3 pools) even if you do not book a room with your own private one. We booked the hotel through a package and breakfast and dinner are included - both are buffet style. There is only 1 restaurant in the... More
