This hotel is in a top location. Not too far up the hill to have to trek for miles to get anywhere but also ski in ski out with the ace family lift a few meters downt the hill. Initially i was disappointed my first choice of hotel was booked out but im actually really glad it was now as... More

The good: + Literally on the slope of a run, full locker room underneath the hotel + The complimentary breakfast was terrible + There was an onsen in our room The bad: - Said onsen looked a bit dirty and questionable (not to mention very cramped--could barely fit two grown people in it) - Wifi was very patchy in-room -... Let's start with the positives: the location is unbeatable (on the Hirafu slopes below the main gondola); the onsen is incredible with a view of the slopes. However you should keep in mind this is a typical Japanese ski hotel - the rooms are tiny, you sleep on tatami mats and futons (not an issue for me but it is... More

It,s our 4th year staying at this hotel. Hotel is conveniently located near family run ski slope and also all the restaurants. Buffet breakfast has great selection of Western and Japanese meal. One English speaking hotel staff is always available. Private onsen facing ski slope in family room is fantastic.

We were really impressed with this hotel. Amazing location. Our room overlooked the ski slopes, the rooms were more spacious than expected. We enjoyed our private onsen and also went down to the public onsen nearly every evening and we would occasionally book a massage for after our onsen. Pure bliss. One night after night skiing we grabbed some beers... More

As this hotel is a ryokan it offers a more traditional Japanese experience than many other hotels in this resort yet it also caters for Western preferences. There are a variety of room styles. We chose the Japanese/western which has the tatami matting etc but western style beds. We opted for the private onsen on our enclosed balcony. We have... More

Good points: breakfast and dinner buffets offered good variety and quality of food. Was a good mix of Japanese/Western with lots of local seafood. Very good points: ski-out location is right next to beginner slopes at Family Run and ski lift. Hotel is also very near to the Hirafu Welcome Centre (where the airport transfer buses stop). Excellent points: we... More

This was our second time staying here and it was just a fun as the previous time. We booked the in room onsen and this was well worth it. There's nothing like having a good soak after a day of snowboarding to relieve the sore muscles. The hotel massages were also comparatively cheaper than the places outside the hotel. This... More

Stayed in Niseko Prince in Feb'13. The room is laid with tatami mats and thats a high plus! We slept like babies for that 4nights. It's really convenient, with the ski track just behind the hotel, we dont have to lug our skis all over the place. We look forward to breakfast and dinner coz the buffet spread was simply... More

Before the stay, we were debating whether we want to pay extra to stay in a room with onsen. Fortunately, we decided to splurge and every day during our 4 nights' stay, we used the private onsen overlooking the snowy mountain of beginner skiers. We maximized our spent - a dip early in the morning after breakfast, a dip after... More
