My first visit to Japan and after a rough time with the Haneda and Narita airport incident, the snowy and calm bus journey to Hirafu welcome centre. It was awesome to meet someone friendly as Ryan who picked me up. Meeting Jennifer since we wrote. And Brent and other staff, they are friendly and help making my stay a happy... More

Had a enjoyable two weeks at Moorea Lodge, it's walking distance to beginners chair (10min) with ski boots and the free town bus that takes you to the bottom of both lifts picks you up directly outside every 10/15mins. It's also bang in the middle of the restaurants and pubs. If your going for a serious ski holiday its all... More

Staying at Moorea lodge while skiing/boarding in niseko was fantastic. Location is great, accomodation was cosy and comfortable, and the staff as well as the other guests were all merry. We had some trouble with our rented equipment but the staff helped us sort it out in the best way possible.

Many thanks to Ryan and the other attendants of Moorea Lodge for helping this group of Power-Hounds have an incredible vacation in Niseko. From when we first arrived on the Sapparo transfer bus, Ryan was waiting for us and helped us get settled and answered all of our questions so that we were able to hit the slopes as soon... More

I have stayed at a few other locations in Niseko, and this was my favourite place. Good location and breakfast, along with helpful staff. Beds were fairly comfortable. Only thing that would have been nice would be lockers in the dorm rooms.

My partner and I had a great 6 days at Moorea. Cosy, warm, clean accommodation. It has a good breakfast and It is located very close to the Village, the Bus stop to Grand Hirafu/Hanazono is conveniently out side the door. The staff at Moorea were so fantastic, very helpful and made us feel truly welcome - we had a... More

We (family of three - daughter is 18 yo) have just returned from a wonderful week of skiing/boarding in Niseko. If your main aim is to ski when in Niseko then the only thing you really need, aside from your equipment and warm clothes, is a comfortable bed, clean warm accommodation and a decent breakfast. You get all this at... More

I stayed here with my brother and partner for a week trip skiing in Niseko. Jennifer and Brooke were fantastic hosts, always helpful with ski information and booking buses, etc. The place was cute and a bargain relative to other accommodation in the area. Rooms were clean and warm, as were the shared bathroom. Breakfast was good and made for... More

I really enjoy the staff at this lodge and the location. I have stayed here a couple of times now and will always check with them first before looking elsewhere. I can't say enough about the staff and location, it is just the best. I hope it stays around for many more years to come. Thanks again for the hospitality... More

Moorea is in an awesome location, bus stop for welcome centre right out front. Jennifer, Ryan and Brooke are all super friendly and willing to help. Close to heaps of restaurants and an Onsen just around the corner. Rooms are clean and comfortable, there is always a ski movie playing on the TV, the lodge is warm and cozy and... More
