Many people told us before we left that the snow in Japan was the best place to learn for beginners, and they were right. My family and I were there for just over a week and it snowed nearly everyday which was perfect for me being a beginner snowboarder spending most of my time on my bottom. With the fresh... More

Arriving: - bus agent at new chitose airport has a tiny sign and is hard to find - bus to resort from new chitose is over two hours with a comfort stop two thirds in - most guests prefer the local airport (Obiharo) unless they flew CathyPacific direct - they overload you on arrival, just get your ski passes from... This was our first time staying with a club med and it was awesome. We stayed as a family of six in 2 rooms. We were greeted with hot towels and tea upon check in, where upon we were taken for a tour through the premises and shown were kids club, ski hire, restaurants, bar and our rooms were. Very... More

It was our 5th stay at CM Sahoro. I will comment not on the absolute level of quality, but rather on how it evolved relatively to previous years. The high: circus team is top this season, with up to 4 GOs on the ropes/trapeze, very professional and impressive, remarkable considering all 4 just came in. New this year: circus with... More

My first time in ClubMed. I went with my husband and 2 sons aged 22 and 18. We were told by Club Med we would be met by their staff at the New Chitose Airport for the coach transfer to the resort. Having waited at the arrival hall for 30 mins, we decided to ask around and was then told... More

Our group (6 adults and 3 children, the youngest is only 7 months) stayed for 5 nights at Club Med, Sahoro. Our stay was a very enjoyable and memorable one. It was already night when we arrived. On arrival we were received by no other than the Chef de Village, mr Phillippe himself and his GOs, Mr Alvin and one... More

Was a little nervous about going to another Club Med -was in Bali last year & whilst good, I was happy to move on. Complete opposite with this experience! Club Med Sohoro has all of the usual facilities you come to expect from this chain, but it seems to make it work better!! My kids loved the "Kids Club" to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Club Med Sahoro, travelling with our 2 sons aged 8 and 9. It was super friendly, a wonderful place to learn to ski with great snow, as much food as we could ever want to eat, and entertainment. We were all at different levels of skiing ability but all enjoyed our lessons and all... More

This is our 3rd consecutive family holidays at Club Med Sahoro. We really like this place because 1. all inclusive resort- flight, accomodation, 3 meals a day and ski lessons. 2. Suitable with family. Kids club will take care of your kids and you simply can do whatever you want. I spent time taking my own ski lesson as well... More

I had not skied for about 15 years, the two kids - 9 and 7 - had never skied before. This proved to be an ideal place to learn and improve. Due to flight timings we arrived before midday to a very cheerful Club Med greeting. Rooms were ready, we were hungry so bags were dumped and lunch was taken.... More
