We stayed here , booking it on the basis of reviews and because we were exploring the area. The hotel is centrally located in Moissac, a pretty town in the Garonne. The rear has secure private car parking, a pool and beautiful garden. The rooms are superbly fitted out ,very modern, spacious, and absolutely immaculate. In terms of accommodation it... More

We stayed here just one night and were really impressed from the entrance into the garden/parking area to the decor in the public rooms and the friendliness of the patrons. Because we met friends in the evening we did not dine but breakfast was ample with plenty of choice. Our room overlooked the garden and was completely noise free. The... More

My husband and I had a street side room, but were impressed with the effect of the double glazing: very quiet with windows closed. Air-conditioned, king size bed, large bathroom. Would prefer real soap, and a higher shower rose, but these were our only negatives. The back of the hotel (best way to enter, btw) has a lovely large garden... More

A fantastic family run small hotel. Don't be put off by the front entrance which is on the busy road into Moissac. Fabulous pool and patio area where meals can be taken outside. Large, modern, well appointed bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed again at L'Armateur before we were able to collect the keys for our new house near Moissac. We were very tired & somewhat fraught & had our black Labrador with us. A big black hairy dog in this beautiful hotel was a worry for us but the proprietor was so kind to continually tell us not to worry.... More

We stayed three nights at this hotel and found it to be a mixture of good and ordinary. On the good side, the hotel was very clean, well located for exploring the area and the bed was extremely comfortable. On the negative side the only seating, apart from one armchair, was a hard wooden stool which was unsuitable as a... More

The hotel is situated in a lovely 18th century building reconverted into a stylish modern hotel with a garden and a small swimming pool. Spotless white is the dominant colour in the rooms and in the restaurant, with just a classy touch of red here and there. We had a spotless twin overlooking the garden, very quiet at night. Food... The room was large & very comfortable as was the bed & bathroom. We didn't think we would be able to eat in the beautiful restaurant as there were no vegetarian dishes on the menu but the owners arranged for a delicious meal. The wine (Gaillac) was also exceptional. Very friendly & helpful owners. The hotel is well situated &... More
