We had cycled from Durness in rain and wind and couldn't have had a better place to stay. We were able to have a hot shower and use of the washing machine/dryer for our clothes. Our ensuite bedroom was pretty, without being naff, and there was everything we wanted in it. In the evening we had booked a meal in... more

We stayed at this guesthouse for only 1 night, unfortunately! When we arrived we were welcomed by Ken, the host & made to feel very welcome. He showed us to our room, which was very clean& very bright, it had very good virews both front & back. In the evening the view to the sea was made even better by... more

We stayed here just for the one night. The room was spotlessly clean and well provisioned. The decor was a little bit dated but it was very clean and tidy which is really the main thing. The beds were fairly comfy though i think mine was starting to be a little bit on its way out as when you sat... more

What a find! This is an absolute cracker of a place. Where do you start with the superlatives. On arrival you are given home made shortbread still warm from the oven and led into your room. The room itself was a nice size, cosy, warm and inviting. Very well fitted out in both bedroom and shower room with nice little... more

Wanted to return to this area and spotted this guest house on the web. Lovely clean room with fantastic view over the village and sea. Food is excellent from homecooked Loch Duart salmon for dinner to homegrown rhubarb on your muesli in the morning! Lovely circular walk from guest house around village via playing fields. Very reasonable, I would highly... more

This is a small B and B that also serves evening meals. The maximum number of guests is (I think) about 6 or 7. For understandable reasons, times for breakfast and evening meal are quite narrow and the evening meal (which we didn’t have on the one night we stayed) has to be ordered in advance. Breakfast was superb and... more

Zach & I drove into Scourie about dinner time (dark) not knowing where to stay..if there was anything in Scourie. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a gem of a place at such a time in such a small village at the top of Scotland. Thankfully one room was available for us. Madeliene & Ken made us feel very... more
