We booked late in the day - too late for the legendary dinner so we arrived around 9.30pm after eating in a hotel in the next village. We were greeted like family by Ken & Madeleine and a roaring log fire in their living room. The guest house was full apart from an attic room above the owner's bedroom, which... More

The Scourie Guest House is one of those wonderful finds that you just don't want to leave behind. Ken and Madeline are wonderful hosts and the rooms are charming, clean and well-appointed. But, what takes this B&B to that special level of charm and fond memories is the food. Upon arrival, Madeline greeted me with a slice of fresh homemade... More

I stayed at Scourie Guest House one night with my 13 year old son. My original intention was to travel between Tongue and Ullapool in one day, but I thought I would be diverted by the stunning scenery so decided to break the journey in Scourie. I made the right decision. There are 3 guest rooms; two upstairs including our... More

I was lucky to stay here for 2 nights with my Mum. Immediately felt a good vibe with Ken's warm welcome to us both. Lovely cosy room - felt like being a log cabin with view to the sea on one side and birds++ at the feeders in the garden through the other. Home made biscuits and FRESH milk (always... More

After a long drive north we were greeted by our wondeful hosts, Ken and Madeline Stephen. They took us into there lovely warm home and looked after us in every way they could. They did this to all of there guests over the 3 days we were there. The room was very clean and comfy. The home cooked food was... More

Ken & Madeline, thanks soooo much for a lovely stay at your B&B n July. We both loved Madeline's cooking as you know, and I have made the smoked salmon pate recipe she gave me and it was wonderful. To all you trip advisor reviewers, we did an 8 day holiday from Glasgow up the west coast and back down... More

The b&b was full so we stayed in the extra bedroom with no en suite but a lovely little bathroom over the hall. The whole place is so clean and the beds looked brand new, very comfortable and it was lovely having a fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. The next morning the breakfast was just fantastic! Home made... More

Quite simply this B&B is perfection. You will be pampered. The evening meals are exquisite - a must! You can even book a packed lunch the night before to take away with you. More
