This is a lovely old coaching inn from times gone by. Plenty of character although may not be to everyone's taste as a few of the rooms could do with some TLC. Good friendly staff. Good bar with some local ales, and a very good choice of whiskeys placed around shelves in the bar area. Food is very traditional but... More

Visited Saturday 23rd January with 2 friends all four of us had different dishes and it was all marvellous. Well Done to chef and Staff Food and service was excellent. Restaurant was very pleasant. Seating comfortable Lady took our coats when returned to us they had been kepy in warm area. Nice touch for a cold wet night.

I was invited by a client to stay there for one night in September 2015. Quite a number of them had already booked in so I simply had to follow another car to the Greyhound after the day’s events. This was very handy, as the public car park to the rear of the premises isn’t the easiest to find. However,... More

Came for drinks and dinner on 22nd December, and enjoyed the beautifully lit trees in the courtyard. From then on, everything went quickly downhill. My friend arrived 30 minutes early, so decided to sit in the bar with a drink. She was ignored by the barmaid, and was forced to chase her into the dining room to ask for a... More

Fantastic room with lots of character. Good sized bathroom too. Lovely stay as always. Garden looked lovely with the Christmas lights. Staff always professional and friendly with great beer! Throughly recommended.

We don't live locally but The Greyhound is conveniently located for family re- unions. Our most recent visit was for Sunday Lunch. We chose the carvery option. Now, there are plenty of Sunday carveries around, some for as little as £7-8. At the Greyhound you can choose a 2,3, or 4 course option. We opted for the 2 course at... More

This is a lovely quaint coaching inn. So beware of creaky floors, a multitude of variations in floor height and the odd headroom issue. Which makes for a lovely and atmospheric stay. The room was extremely comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The staff are really helpful and courteous. I had dinner in the restaurant as the bar was packed, and... More

Just spent an afternoon and evening, including an overnight stay at this wonderful place, they advertise it as being dog friendly, well, it is, Bailey my dog was made to feel very welcome, and not in the way at all. Staff including the chef (Will) were very nice people, to us and Bailey. I could thoroughly recommend this place. Oh,... More

It's an old coaching inn. So it doesn't have a 200 space car park! The plumbing might be quaint! The ceilings may be low! Wi-Fi is intermittent! BUT a great atmosphere, good food, good beer\Ales, very nice and helpful staff, cummfy beds, clean rooms, good plentiful breakfast. Resident ghost! my first choice when staying in Lutterworth.

We have often driven through Lutterworth but only stayed there once before which wasn't a success and as this was a last minute booking I was somewhat apprehensive. I shouldn't have been - the room (number 10) was one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in this year (and probably previous years too). The bed was huge the furnishings gorgeous... More
