Our second hotel in as many nights due to a family funeral. Chosen primarily for location as we needed to be in Lutterworth town centre. Two double rooms (we were "outside" in a courtyard room while my brother & sister in law had the four poster room in the main building). NO free parking but public paid car park right... More

We stayed at the Greyhound Coaching Inn to break up our journey from Edinburgh to Portsmouth. We travelled with our two large Spinone dogs. The welcome we received was outstanding. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. Our room was in keeping with the style of the inn, quaint and period. It was ideal. We were given... More

We stayed at the Greyhound around a month ago and it was brilliant. We thought we had found a regular spot we could enjoy over and over. We stayed again booking an additional room for friends on our way back from a rugby game. We arrived about 6.30pm and checked in asking to reserve a table for an evening meal... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Greyhound in a few times over the past year. We have never had a completely bad experience. The hotel is a nice change from all of the more modern/luxury hotels we normally frequent. The rooms are very nice though they can be quite small. The breakfast is great and the staff are... More

Booked for myself and 2 colleagues as attending an event in Bruntingthorpe. Location in town centre was perfect and not too far from evening event. The hotel had plenty of character, room was clean, staff friendly, breakfast in the morning was very good and set me up for the day. All in all a pleasant overnight stay which was enjoyed... More

A splendid example of a traditional Coaching Inn, well restored and presented. Staff busy with carvery on arrival so it took a little while to book in. The bedroom was comfortable with a King size bed, but the massive ' sleigh ' style frame almost filed the room making things very cramped. We enjoyed a really good evening meal and... More

we stopped off at the coaching house en route and loved the room , superb sloping floors and wonky door frames, Mirrors creating space and attention to quirky detail relaxing us after a long journey. A sour unfriendly person, who we had to endure but forget, met us on reception and after a good meal, friendly waiting staff a lovely... More

The Greyhound is an absolutely beautiful old coaching inn, very well renovated and with lots of charm. The room and food could not be criticised. Unfortunately the female 'front of house' manager was unfriendly in the extreme - not a smile or a hello of welcome or departure. I would go as far as to describe the reaction in general... More

Pleasant relaxing bar with good ale. Breakfast good, excellent bacon and eggs. Warm friendly service. Just let down with tired bedrooms despite recent refurbishment. Different and quirky for a few nights stay. Rooms outside in the court yard end to be better furnished. Lots of good restaurants close by to enjoy, especially the new Mexican on the high street.

A collage and me stayed in the hotel for two nights and it was a great and different experience. The hotel has a great atmosphere and the evenings in the bar was great, It’s so nice to stay at a hotel and you feel you are among nice friends you have known you ages.
