This was our second visit to this agriturismo and it was the repeated pleasure we expected. A mix up in our reservation landed us at the hotel without reservations. The helpful staff helped to make everything work out. We had a little apartment with balcony with views to the sea, delicious meals and a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Most of... More

Beautiful views, really friendly staff, great food and even a friendly horse & donkey which made it for the kids. Thank you to all the staff for making us so welcome. Would love to return. Especially recommend the antipasti and eating there on fish night which was delicious.

This is a fairly large agriturismo nestled in Sicilian hills with breathtaking views of the sea and the Aeolian islands. Although it's up a hill, if you choose the right road it's easy to reach by car. Places to visit nearby (by car) are Tindari, Montalbano and Cefalù, amongst others. We stayed in a triple room which was a lovely,... More

Me and my hubby just returned from here where we stayed for a week on our 'babymoon' and we found the place to be pretty awesome. The view from up the hill over the sea is awe inspiring so if you like a view this is the place to be. The owner Giuseppe greeted us on arrival and gave us... More

For Christmas we went back to Santa Margherita, our new favorite spot. We had spent 2 weeks there in August and loved every minute of our stay. The location, the hospitality of the owners, the unbelievable food, the view, the proximity to the sea, the pool, the comfortable rooms, good prices, we just loved it. Very hard to pull our... More

- Not easy to get there.. driving up to a cliff for 30 minutes - The room was terrible, very tiny and smelly. We tried changing rooms but none was available - No wireless connection on any of the rooms, only really near the reception - No cellular reception almost anywhere - Ate dinner which had a folclor singing which... dear client, we are very sorry for the problems caused. But we never had any problems with foods. Maybe your stomac is not good for sicilian food and maybe you go in fast food. Anyway sorry but our breakfast is like a five star hotel. Giuseppe More

Overall, good value, rustic, agri-tourismo accommodation. Spectacular views. It's not 5 star, but why would it be at these prices? Come with that in mind and you'll be fine. Four nights here would have bought us about six hours in our Taormina hotel! For E40 or so per night you can't really complain. We stayed in a two bed apartment,... More

This was our second stay at Santa Margherita. Just a couple of hours drive from the airport at Catania, the views across the bay towards the Aeolian Islands and Milazzo are truly stunning. Giuseppe and his team are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Accommodation is comfortable and spread out across the farm. Breakfast comprised a typically good Italian style buffet,... More

We booked this based on pictures. We were visiting relatives nearby and thought it looked lovely. We had great difficulty driving on the road to get there. It is extremely steep and narrow. We were worried that we would never make it back up the road in the dark. Our small car barely made it up the incline in the... More

This place is in the mountains and awful to get to by car. Even there is a easier way than a GPS tells you, it's still a challenge to get there. There are no cities close where you can go to by night and I would never dare driving there when it's dark. The food was ok - good but... More
