Stopped here on a Sunday night, so there wasn't too many other guests the location is a beautiful spot, a nice short drive in to Bunbeg and the beach. Clean, quiet, comfortable and friendly, and a great introduction to stopping in a hostel for my 12 year old. We will defiantly be back,

The hostel is located near the Glenveagh National Park in Donegal. The view of Errigal Mountain is in the backyard of the hostel, which makes it a gorgeous location for the hostel. The rooms are clean, the dining room is large enough and with a good kitchen. Perfect area for hiking, walking and is childfriendly.

We stayed at this hostel back in March when touring around Ireland. It was more like a hotel- we had a 4 person dorm and it was spacious, clean with large comfy beds. The hostel is nestled just in front of Mount Errigal so beautiful view. The showers amazing and the kitchen large with plenty of cooking facilities for more... More

The hostel was opened for 12 of us in November when it is usually closed.we used it as a base for a biking weekend and we could not have found a better place. The dry room was perfect when we came back after a day of getting wet and dirty it left all our gear dry for the next morning.... More

We stayed at the Hostel for a night back in September prior to wedding and have to say that it was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed - couldnt fault it.. The scenery was second to none - having Mount Errigal as a backdrop would be hard to beat. plus the place was so quiet - one... More

Stayed in this hostel as we doing a walk up Mount Errigal the following day. My partner and I booked a double en suite room not expecting too much as it is a hostel and we hadn't stayed in a hostel since our student days. We were amazed by the standard of the accommodation. It was clean, comfortable and better than... More

As anyone knows traveling, one should have a back-up plan, or, in my recent experience, ask a local person about the area. I had traveled up to Donegal, to take the ferry to Tory Island, my plan, rapidly fell apart, I asked someone local for suggestions, & Errigal Hostel, near Glenveagh National Park, was highly recommended. Within minutes, I pulled... More

This was the most impressive hostel of our trip. (30days) The facilities were immaculate as was the room. We could have stayed long term here! The staff was helpful and the view was amazing! Parking easy and safe. Highly recommend this one even if you don't think you are into hostels!

My sister and I travelled down to Donegal for a short break with her two babies (aged 1 & 2) and where overwhelmed at how hospitable and lovely this hostel was. I have travelled all over the world and have never stayed in a hostel anywhere near this standard. Anne (manager/owner) was just so lovely and couldnt do enough for... More

We stayed at this hostel year ago and said we would return. We hoped it would be as good so were delighted to find it even better! The things that had stayed consistent were clean bright rooms (this year had a twin room with it's own bathroom and shower) spotless bedding. A bright airy well equipped kitchen. There is a... More
