I recently spent an evening here with a group of well travelled individuals on a cultural tour of Sicily. On arrival we were welcomed by the owners and given a really interesting talk and video show on the history of tuna fishing in Western Sicily. The Baglio is beautiful and really reflects Sicily's history in this part of the island.... More

Our tour group were booked in for dinner here, so did not experience the accommodation. A superb farmhouse with courtyard and fine spacious rooms. We were treated to a memorable meal of local specialities, including a fascinating broad bean stew which we were encouraged to drizzle with this year's young and spicy olive oil. Tasty pasta con Le sarde followed.... More

This was one of our favorite farm stays in Sicily. We had a small room overlooking the pool on the second floor. And the chef ( a woman who's name I can't recall) was delightful as well as talented. Staff is very nice and easy going. Pool was fantastic - really large and clean. There is an interesting terrace area... More

Our family of 5 stayed in this lovely Agriturismo. The pool is fantastic and the food lovely. The breakfasts are tremendous and the dinners a tour de force. The location is excellent for visiting Segesta, Selinunte, Erice, Trapani and the beaches of western Sicily. The massage was excellent in a lovely studio. The bedrooms were typical and comfortable and the... More

We booked a four-day holiday and stayed at this hotel. It was welcoming, hospitable and informal with very good home-cooked food. The rooms were perfect, as was the pool. The host, Sergio, was as helpful as the other staff - including a young cook from a neighbouring village and a trainee lawyer! It was a perfect base for four days... More

We had booked this place well in advance and booked dinner in advance as well. We arrived to find the staff quite occupied with a large cooking class of perhaps 25 or 30 and stressed at having to find someone to check us in. The place is lovely: every detail of the outside and the interior furnishings are elegant and... More

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The owner was wonderful. We requested dinner at the hotel 2 nights in a row and it was amazing. I would recommend eating here. The breakfast was okay. If you want espresso you need to request it. The rooms were large. We had a bedroom and separate sitting area and balcony. The... More

My husband and I were on a cycling holiday and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Sergio was a perfect host and organised a taxi to Erice for us, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the quiet surroundings and lovely pool. The wine was excellant and the food was a delight. I especially recommend the anti-pasta and the... More

Even though this is a beautiful setting and the building has a lot of charm, we were very disappointed with this agriturismo. The pool IS beautiful and the backyard. However, we never saw the owners of this property. The moroccan couple that took care of Baglio were so very sweet and helpful. The lunch our first day was very good,... More
