On arrival, this is a wonderfull kasbah, very beautifully restored, with a pool, gardens and flowers everywhere. Unfortunately most other things are very average. Service upon arrival is good, we got tea at a nice table. After that, all service just stopped. Dinner was just weird - please make good Maroccon food, not this. A dry tajine and a non... More

We stayed here in March and the almond trees around the property were in full bloom. The location is secluded and very quite. The rooms and food were great. Very nice pool for lounging. Staff very accommodating. We brought our own wine to dinner, no problem. Would stay here again. A game of ping pong was fun before we hit... More

This was the best night of entire trip to Morroco. Not obvious location, even for our driver, especially the river crossing. What a wonderful surprise! Acceuil tres chalareux by our hosts, Jean-Mi(chel) and Francoise. High quality renovation of an old kasbah. The entire property is like a museum with innumerable beautiful pieces from the owners' extensive African travels. The food... More

Recently spent two delightful nights at La Perle du Dades - lovely French hosts, original, stylish and comfortable rooms in traditional moorish style, superb location with easy access to stunning walks. It was wonderful to return to after the madness of Marrakech - very civilised without being in any way clinical. Highly recommended.

Took us a long time to get to the Perle since we didnt attempt the river route and were almost ready to turn around when we came to the entrance. We thought we landed in heaven. The accommodations, rooms, staff, food and property were outstanding! We've already reccommended it to our friends. Our only regret is that we only stayed... More

We got a beautiful suite and everything about this place was fabulous. The owners, who are French but have lived in West Africa, created this place up to European and western standards of comfort, but decorated it with local furnishings. It was too cold to use the pool, but our kids, 9 and 14, loved having free run of the... More

Perle du Dades is a lovely kasbah, hotel resort, reasonably priced, and a great base for exploring the nearby gorges and the high Atlas in any season. We visited in December. The rooms were lovely, each unique and artfully decorated with treasures and oddities from the hosts' extensive African travels. From the terraces, there were great views of the Dades... More

This is a very spacious, well equipped hotel but still retains the family feel as it is home to its french owners. We spent a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day here and had our first drink of wine/beer in ages in a lively festive soiree. The food was good and there is a friendly ambience. The family room is massive... More

What a lovely spot! After a week of cultural sight-seeing, hiking, and camping in the desert, it felt lovely to visit this inn complete with beautiful swiimming pool, foosball and ping pong tables, bacci.... it felt fun just to kick back for a few hours. The food was lovely and more French than Moroccan; for us, this was a nice... More

I seriously do not understand why this place gets so many 5-star reviews. Maybe if you come straight from the desert, or have only been camping so far you will be pleasanly surprised. However if you have travelled a bit and are sort of used to staying in nice hotels, Perle is probably a disappointment. Surely it's not bad, but... More
