This is my second time to the hotel and continues to please. I travelled the second time with my daughter after leaving Marrakech during the rains and taking the very long road via Agadir we arrived to Xaluca to a warm welcome, comfortable beds, clean and spacious rooms, buffet dinner and breakfast, a bar area to relax in. The surprise... More

Although choices are few and far between once you hit this area, I was really not expecting such a nice place. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Check in was great and the rooms very tastefully decorated, with a touch of nomad flair. Beds were fantastic. The views were breathtaking. Had the buffet dinner... I am definitely not a buffet... Only one night at this hotel and wished it could have been more. We were welcomed by typical Moroccan musicians and dancers. The reception area is very welcoming and has a little gift shop. Our room was very traditional in the bedouin style and the view from our window was spectacular as it looked over the Dades Valley which is... More

As others have commented, this is primarily a hotel catering to coach tours en route to or from the desert. Nonetheless this is a better than average instantiation of the breed with eclectic and comfortable rooms. The reception area is large and comforting with efficient and friendly staff. Their is a deck (and pool area) off the bar with excellent... More

This hotel was really quirky and full of culture. You are welcomed by a traditional song and dance with the famous mint tea. Rooms are nice - average size, nice little seating area in front of the window but a shame our window looked out to a field of nothing/debris. Bathrooms are a tall step up from the rest of... More

If you like the type of hotel that has no surprises and standard fare then do not stay here. If you want something different that challenges convention and has comfort with style then this is the place. The rooms are well appointed with free internet. The setting and views are spectacular. I have travelled extensively in Morocco and this place... More

... was that, being on a tour, I couldn't stay longer! A surprising hotel with a unique, but stylish setting. I found it comfortable, the staff very helpful and efficient, the food was great, and I adored the artwork. Really enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here as part of a tour of Morocco.Another strange design. One corridor lined like a mine entrance. One corridor has glass floor with fossil underneath. All floor stone so quite noisy when people/cases moving around. Rooms quirky. Single beds on solid stone bases. 3 planks of wood to join and slide together to make a double.Wardrobe just poles bound... More

Busy and distinctive hotel on the tourist route, with lots of individual decorative features, many of which work well and some of which - like the razor-sharp door backs and stone headboards - certainly do not. Roof pool very pleasant. Rather uninteresting buffet dinner.

HOTEL XALUCA-DADES - We spent one night at this large hotel and besides our unfortunate incident at the buffet dinner, it was a pleasant and unexpectedly interesting experience. The hotel is decorated throughout with an extraordinary variety of modern West African wooden sculptures. It was like being in a very good museum. At the buffet dinner, there were many choices...
