If I could stay here forevery I would. We had such a great stay with the wonderful family on poya lisa. This place was just what we were looking for. It's not luxury, you won't have 24hr power or running water(bucket shower which is constantly refilled so you will never run out) but the bungalows are neat and quaint and... More

Stayed in Poya Lisa for 5 nights after a lot of research and all I can say is that all the hours in cars ferries and boats are worth it when you get there. The island is really tiny, you get a fantastic feeling of being isolated from everything. Got a bungalow in the cliff and the view was just... More

We stayed at Poya Lisa for 5 nights, originally only planning to stay for 2. We'd like to clarify that our 4 star rating is very good in the context of budget accommodation. The Togian's are remote, small islands & if you're looking for a fancy resort then it's not for you. We stayed in one of the bungalows closer... More

The island is small, you can snorkel around in 1 hour! We had a very nice bungalow on top of the cliff. One site sunset, other site sunrise! Great!!! There was always a nice breeze, so we didn't need a fan. The bugalow gad a Mandi shower, water in a bucket, and the friendly Captain Water filled up every day... More

If you like a cheap stay on a nice island, this is a good place to go. Just 150.000 rp ( eur 10 ) p.p.p.d. Including 3 meals. Standard cabins on the beach or on the rocks. Only the food is a bit boring. Every day for lunch and diner plain rice and dry fish.

We came to Poya Lisa having already stayed in 2 places and having seen two more. Out of all those places, this turned out to be our favourite one. Let me start with saying this is a basic place running for the last several years and so the bungalows are not brand new (but are decent and quite clean) and... More

We were for 5 days on this wonderful place. The cottages are simple but has everything you need and has a balkon with a splendid view. The meals (mostly fresh fish) are good. Snorkeling direct around the small I land is possible. Snorkeling trips to other places are cheap and easy to arrange. The sea life is the best we... More

Before we visited, I've read many exciting reviews of this place, so we were little bit disappointed by the end. For how small the place is, they managed to squeeze many cottages on it. It's basically just two pieces of rock connected by a line of beach. There are a few cottages on one of the rocks, restaurant and kitchen... More

Sorry, dear budget-tourists, the travelling-concept of exploiting poor countries and bargaining prices down leads to rotten bungalows like in Poya Lisa, where nothing is kept working (lamps, door-latches, breaking chairs and hammocks), because owners don't get money to repair or improve anything. You swim in "beautiful warm water" around the tiny island, if you enjoy toilet-waste of bungalows and you... More
