I stayed at Black Marlin Dive for 4 days in early January 2014,it was one of the highlights of my trip to Sulawesi. I don't dive but did snorkel over the reef just off the beach, there were 100's of fish of all types. As for the resort the room was clean and a nice size, the food very good... More

Don't go here if you're looking for a five star luxuory resort, but I would say this place was the highlight of our 3/4 week trip through Sulawesi, Lombok and Bali. We also got our SSI open water and we couldn't have wished for a better instructor! The thing we liked the best about the resort was the staff, they... More

We were a group of two couples and one child. We stayed there for 23 days over new year. So quite a long time. First of all, it's a nice place if you expect a very basic stay. We stayed in standard rooms. Electricity is just available in the evening. Till 10.30 or 11 pm. Running water twice a day... More

I stayed there for 5 nights and it was great. Regarding Black Marlin resort I have a few negative points to address. When we arrive nobody welcome us, present and explain the available facilities or even just introduce the resort. We waited a long time and then we have to take the initiative to ask for it. The staff are... More

in my recent visit I stayed there for over a week; and I went to some other resorts as well so I guess I can provide a good comparison: 1- rooms: all resorts have relatively good rooms; BM rooms have nice showers; very nice mosquito nets and good views. I couldnt find a single problem with them. 2- food: the... More

Remote, great rooms, food was good (remote island resort, all food inclusive). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the diving (I have done 100+ dives all over SE Asia), not unique marine life, but good visibility (about 25m), beautiful reefs - coral good condition, interesting small critters, excellent DM's, all my dives were 1 hour plus. Loved the jelly... More

We came expressly to the Togeans and to Black Marlin to do our four open water certification dives and it was worth the travel distance every way! Udi, our dive instructor, was an excellent teacher and guide - we always felt safe which was paramount as my 12-year-old son also became certified. The staff were always friendly and helpful; the... I spent 5 nights in Kadidiri Island and stayed for 3 nights at Black Marlin Dive Resort & had a blast. The resort was clean & the food was awesome. I also did 11 dives there & loved the dive guides (Fenly & Andy). They're so nice, friendly & seemed to enjoy their life there, which is always a good... More

Having read some of the negative reviews that the Black Marlin Resort has received I have to wonder what on earth these people are on? and what they expect from a budget resort on an island with no electricity and limited running water? (it's boated in daily from the main island) If you want a 5 star resort with 5... More

We are sorry for the misunderstanding with this customer but due to our remote location and poor signal coverage we are forced to authorise credit cards manually through the bank credit card centre and they require all card information to be able to verify and process. This is an entirely normal procedure in these circumstances and we have ben operating... More
