From the moment we arrived we felt at home. There was attention to the smallest detail. A very comfortable and well equipped room and outstanding food - all served efficiency and a smile. I would go out of my way to stay there again.

Small but well-formed, this country house hotel is a real charmer- from staff to locality, from food to ambience. We stayed in the Ballindalloch- "superior room" with large bed, plenty of room space, quality TV, DVD and CD player and double spa bath. There was no hassle at any time, anywhere- just an atmosphere of calm and confident competence. The... More

Unfortunately (due to very late planning on our part) we could only enjoy Iain and Elaine's hospitality for one night. This is what the hotel business is about, a couple who run their hotel with pride, passion and huge amounts of dedication. The welcome was warm and sincere, the accomodation and public rooms are all tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.... More

An elegant and wonderfully clean Hotel, full of fresh flowers, and with food that is out of this world. Impressive attention to detail, and an ideal base from which to explore Speyside. The only Hotel we have ever returned to, we were so impressed. Very attentive host and hostess.

My husband and I have just returned from Tigh na Sgiath which is without a doubt one of the best hotels we have ever visited. We stayed with a group of friends and were all agreed that it certainly offers value for money. The cuisine is first class and the service is second-to-none! The room was well equipped, extremely comfortable... More

We had a wonderful time at this Hotel, we could not find fault with anything. The breakfasts were amazing, sitting watching red squirrels having their breakfast as well added to the delightful ambience of the Hotel. The owner could not have been more welcoming and our room was a real treat, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and a great range of... More

We have visited this wonderful hotel many times and cannot praise too highly Iain and Elaine who own and run it. From the moment you are welcomed in by Iain you just relax and know that you are going to be looked after in every way. For ourselves it is our oasis whenever we need our batteries recharged. The hotel... More

I promised this review some time ago and have only just got round to it so don't let this make you think any the less about this hotel. My wife and I had a couple of nights here as a birthday treat for me and to visit a part of Scotland we were not that familiar with. We had an... More
