We spent three nights here in early July, 2014. This is a small B&B with just two rooms to let. We were traveling with another couple, so we shared the entire property. Between our rooms there was a nice sitting room. Our rooms were even stocked with a small dram of local whisky for our enjoyment. Our hosts, Jan and... More

Thank you very much for your kind words about our home and the service we provide, it is still a joy to us to welcome people to Netherfield B and B especially when they are as nice people as you all were. I hope you found the lost purse. grant More

Jan and Grant were the perfect hosts. The room where we stayed was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The location was quiet and peaceful. We appreciated the guidance, which was readily available, that improved our daily outing to see and experience more of the local Scottish attractions. Highly recommended

Tastefully decorated, bright, spacious room with lovely views over the well-tended garden and hills beyond. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Good choice of breakfasts. Peaceful setting, convenient for pleasant Grantown-on-Spey. Local village restaurants not open Sunday/Monday but only 3 miles to others in Grantown/Nethy bridge.

My husband and I enjoyed our short, one-night stay. Room was well decorated, spacious, and clean. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. View from our room to the garden was beautiful. We also had the pleasure of meeting the family dog. Would definitely recommend.

First, we apologize for the delay in posting this review...we don't know where the time went. Our stay with Jan and Grant at their lovely home was absolutely perfect! Rory, their Springer Spaniel was an added bonus, a sweet happy dog that would gladly play fetch all day. When we left there was a possibility of adding a new dog... More

We stayed at Netherfield for 2 nights during a two week trip around Scotland. We had the Cairngorm room and found it very comfortable and spacious. Jan and Grant were very welcoming and had plenty of tips on where to eat (Riverside Restaurant down the road was lovely) and also walks / other places to visit. We particularly enjoyed the... More

Stayed here in June 2013 during a tour of Scotland. Had a lovely welcome and the B&B was really nice. Room was big, clean and had a lovely view. Breakfast was great, and the couple made our stay even more welcome. Sorry for delay in putting review, just been busy. But would definitely recommend.

A real find. Jan and Grant are perfect hosts and catered for all needs to ensure we got the most from our time in the area with excellent suggestions on things to do and places to visit. The bedroom was beautifully furnished and very comfortable, as is the whole house, and the garden is a gem, with the added bonus... More

Stayed 9 nights on a sports holiday. Nothing was too much trouble - early breakfasts, wet clothes dried out overnight, loan of maps from their extensive collection of local walking maps, help with booking places for dinner, etc. Lovely spacious room with good view and plenty of fresh air and with a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower and... This place is extremely special and magical. Jan and Grant are the two loveliest people you could ever ask to meet. Each time I visit I never want to leave. Both rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipment to feel like your own room at home. The breakfast in the morning is a delight to wake up to after being... More
