Our stay at Sani Valley was our first part of our SA holiday and it was perfect. We really enjoyed the peace and quite and the breathtaking views surrounding us, the lodge was well equipped and was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed warm days but the evenings were still a little chilly, however the Lodge was all set up to keep... More

Beautifully situated lodges nestled in the valley surrounded by mountains. We stayed in Sunset 1 which was very comfortable and spacious with a lovely log fire which we made use of. Delicious home cooked dinners were delivered to our lodge every evening and breakfast was served in the Boathouse overlooking the lake. We took a day trip up the Sani... More

What an amazing place, just spend 2 lovely days in this resort, and love it. The bungalows are beautiful and very well equipped and the staff so pleasant and willing to make one's stay memorable. Food was tops as well so all I had to do was rest and enjoy the view... I can not wait to return!

We stayed two nights at Sani valley during our 3 weeks travel in South Africa in October 2014. We booked accommodation and dinner. The dinners were very good and thinks were organized in a way that we have hot meals at dinner time but there are minus points which make impossible for us to recommend the Lodge. The lodge was... My wife and I, and 3 month old son stayed at Sani Valley in Early Mist 2 in early October. Gareth and his staff provided one of the better places we have ever visited. We loved everything about it even though the weather was a bit "powerful" and "wet". The great thing about the trip was that it wasn't a... More

The early morning view from a bedroom window across the lake to the mountains is superlative and this is a beautiful place. We stayed in great comfort once we had the measure of the wood burning stove and delicious underfloor heating - it was very cold when we were there. There was a slight hiccup over single versus double rooms... More

Dear Adloyd :) Thank you for the review, yes early September can be cold, but I am happy we were able to accommodate your needs on short notice........it is not called the highest pub in Africa for nothing, but what beautiful views from there. You just missed the mating pair of blue crane unfortunately......but summer is a better time for... More

We stayed here as it is close to the Sani Pass - from that perspective the location is unbeatable. The unit we stayed in (Sunset #3) was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The furniture and decor is also very tasteful. The unit furthermore overlooks one of the dams on the farm, which makes for an awesome view from... More

We stayed in Sunset 2 which must have one of the most beautiful views of the mountains in South Africa. Really close to the pass for our trip with the family up the mountain. The stars at night and the tranquillity during the day make this a 5 star experience!

Stayed for 3 nights and tried for longer but they were fully booked. We stayed in one of the Sunset Lodges - very comfortable and adequately equipped kitchen. Accommodation was clean and serviced daily but the outlook was just amazing - across the dam and surrounded by the stunning mountains which changed in appearance with each passing hour. Easy access... More

We stayed for 2 nights but would have stayed for another if time permitted. We booked Rainbow Lodge which slept our 2 children, grandparents and ourselves comfortably. We booked the lodge due to the close proximity to Sani Pass as we were doing the CHOC walk up SANI pass and it was great to be so close. The sunrises and... More
