I spent 3 days on business in Sweden earlier this month. We didn't stay at the hotel but our hosts brought us there for an evening meal. Its a wonderfully located hotel in a very picturesque part of Sweden near Gothenburg. We arrived for our evening meal and were immediately greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. A... More

We spent one night, Friday to Saturday at this excellent spa hotel. The room was spacious, although the view is not very good considering how nice the surroundings are. The spa part is nice with several pools and saunas as well as plenty of relaxing area. Could perhaps be a bit crowded if the hotel is fully booked. The food... More

I visited this hotel to attend a conference. The hotel rooms are clean, modern and comfortable but a little on the basic side. For instance, there was no iron or ironing board in the room. The conference rooms and auditorium were spacious and suited our needs very well. There is wifi throughout the hotel. The food at the restaurant was... More

I haven't chance had a dinner nor lunch but breakfast was good good enough compare other typical Swedish hotels. Hotel very close to ferry cross the island... More

Very nice hotel. Not located on the island so you have to take the ferrie across, but that no problem at all. We only stayed one night, but had a great stay. And service was faboulous. They actually reduced our room price with 30% upon arrival. Another great thing was that the front of the hotel is sheltered from the... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for one night in December 2012. The hotel is located beautifully by the sea, and has a nice saltwater SPA department for their guests. We tried a couples package with massage and we where very satisfied. However, it is possible to purchase alcohol in the SPA bar, which is nice for a glass of... More

Perfectly situated with a glimpse of sea-view. Cosy rooms. Free wi-fi, however, connection was very bad, impossible to use. Friendly staff at SPA. It was nice to be able to take a glass of wine in the pool, and the glass was of glass and not plastic. Good food and helpful staff. I visited hotel with my friends on Friday... More

We stayed in double room. It was a little small with a baby cot, but really nice and the beds were really great. We did not eat in the restaurant but the breakfast was fresh and tasty. Hotell staff was friendly and really helpfull. Marstrand is a great place to spend a weekend. Amazing nature, nice buildings, nice small shops... More

After staying at the Avalon Hotel in Gothenburg the two previous nights, we found this hotel to be a little disappointing. The reception/check in area is cold and bland with polite but not particularly friendly staff. Our room was a very long walk from the reception and was very small (on par with budget Parisian hotels!). Bed linen, pillows, towels... More
