We stayed here for one night. Room was cramped, bathroom just about OK. Breakfast not great, either. Staff friendly and helpful, owner (if it was him) seemed to limit himself to smoking. At 115 euro the hotel is simply too expensive.

This place was ok but we traveled back and forth to Amsterdam and the train became expensive as well as the numerous taxis provided by the hotel but still the tips on 10 cab rides a day was expensive. They did have a nice breakfast and the hotel is located in a much less populated area so be sure your... More

I come here to work meaning the company chooses the hotel so here I am an year later. This time I got a room on the first floor, away from the noise kitchen and the smoke owner, much better! The hotel has changed, better towels, new and cleans, but the room still needs a lot of work. We had two... More

Stayed for 2 nights with 3 children in double and triple rooms. Beds extremely comfy. Hotel family run and the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They really were lovely. Breakfast plentiful and delicious. Amsterdam centre is just 4 miles away and an easy bike ride or you can catch bus or metro. Lovely quiet, safe neighbourhood... More

Is this a 4 star hotel? Not really. What's good about it? The location is ok, near Amsterdam. Public transport to the city is convenient. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is decent. But: the double room was tiny, dark, and badly in need of redecoration. The wardrobe is small, so you can't unpack your luggage. The walls are thin,... More

This nice quiet rather small (25 rooms) hotel is in the process of being refurbished by its new owner: the toilet next to the restaurant has brand new tiles, the new beds and mattresses were just being unloaded when we arrived, the carpet in the room is clean, due to its location in a small street between the old center... I came across this place by accident while heading to the airport last week. We had a great lunch here which was extremely reasonably priced. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. We sat outside at the tables in the sun.

I was expecting a family hotel and it's been sold like that but it's not what I've been told at all! The food was ok but the kitchen couldn't cope with a full hotel! The manager smokes inside the hotel so the whole place smells of cigarretes! The towels are so old and small! Well hope they can bring it... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days in late September of 2013 during our visit to see friends in Amstelveen, and experience Amsterdam & Haarlem. The hotel was easy to find with very good proximity to the bus and tram stations, and situated in a peaceful, well-kept neighborhood. Breakfasts were included in the cost, and a highlight; lots...
