Big studio-apt, full kitchen, no microwave, very confortable beds. self service no daily cleaning, toiletries first day, very clean. CONS : No A/C though there is a big portable fan. I would certainly stayed there again but not in the summer. metro far but bus in front. nice neighborhood. resonable priced.

I spent two nights in the hotel for a business trip. In overall it was a nice stay, nothing really negative to mention. Just avoid the shuttle service, as it is always overbooked and not on time. The hotel itselfs is located in suburbian/rural area, with restaurants and a bowlingcenter close by. The room was nice and clean, althout it... More

Lovely room, super bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet good although we have sometimes had even more choices in hotels with lower star ratings. Staff mainly helpful and friendly. If it had been slightly closer to Amsterdam centre it could have been worth 5 stars. Ate in TgeregT restaurant [adjacent] one evening - superb food. Three course meal for 27.50... More

Stayed a week. Money up front a month in advance. Very basic breakfast. Room was hot. We got a room with airconditioning when we complained. The room was big. Three english speaking channels. Hotel was about 40 min from centre of Amsterdam, and 20 min from RAI exhibition centre. Dropped youghurt in the elevator when it stopped suddenly. The youghur... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. I was so impressed with the hotel and the location. Its located amid greenery. The rooms are big, and i can give a 5* rating for its cleanliness and maintenance. It felt so cosy being there..... had good fun and sleep. Its however not very close to Amsterdam central but its worth every penny... More

Hello, Everything the others write about this hotel is correct. Wonderful staff and breakfasts etc. However there is also some serious failings : The hotel caters for many Indian contract workers whom are working at local IT companies. They have a habit of having their televisions on late into the evening. I have frequently had to call security to ask... More

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Amstelveen for 10 nights with our two children, while we were visiting relatives in The Netherlands. The rooms are very spacious and you can book rooms that interconnect if you are travelling with children. The Hotel itself only has a breakfast room. But next to the hotel are two restaurants and a bowling alley.... More

just spent 3 nights here and have to say the hotel cannot be faulted . the first thing that hits you is the size of the room and bathroom . amsterdam is notoriuos for small rooms so staying outside of the city has the benfit of a room in which you can swing a cat ! it was spotlessly clean... More

Indeed an other great stay at this hotel. This trip we stayed for more than 10 days at Grand Hotel Amstelveen. It is great to see always the same staff, they recognized us and nothing was too much. One evening we had a superb dinner at the Residence Fontaine Royale, delicious food, great service. The new Executive Chef did a... More
