45 minute metro away from anywhere in Amsterdam although advertising only '20 minutes'. On a night out in Amsterdam the metro shuts at 12pm and doesn't reopen until 6am, meaning a good 2 hour wait in a train station. On arriving to the campsite, my friend unfortunately had our only key and had got on a different metro..I asked reception... More

We stayed for 3 nights in a cabin. It took us a while to find the campsite from the city centre but that was before we knew about the metro - the nearest station to the site is Spinnerij on route 51. The campsite has all the basics you need, including a small shop for things like bread and milk,... More

We stayed here for a week, firstly in a cabin (booked through HostelWorld) and then in a tent. It took us a long while to arrive at the location. For anybody wanting easy instructions from the centre via public transport: the tram is the quickest and cheapest way: 2.80 euro for a one hour ticket - get the tram from... More

This campground was so cute. It was a bike ride away from the city was a really easy path. The owner was nice and gave useful information. He was very straightforward. Gave the information that you needed and went back to work. Not a chit chatter. The facilities were super clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that you... More

We were staying in our Motorhome- 2 people, 2 nights Location- its handy to get to the city on the bikes- flat scenic ride through the park (10 kms) or there is a bus outside that goes to the metro. Nice layout for the campsite, spacious pitches, with trees and shrubs giving some privacy. The campsite itself is inside a... More

We stayed for three nights in the Chalet Bordeaux. The cabin itself was great, very spacious and equipped with basic kitchen utilities. However, be sure to bring your own bedding (or rent it at the reception), because the beds weren't the cleanest we have seen. Also, all four beds are single and seperated, so don't expect to snuggle if you're... More

When I first called to ask information, the reception told me it was close to the city 15 min by bike and 20 min by bus but actually it's really far from the city centre (about 20 km) 45 min by bike (if you are fast and you know well your itinerary) and at least an hour by bus and... More

We stayed as a group of 5 during our tour to Amsterdam. The Chalet Ocala we booked was the perfect villa. We couldn't really find anything wrong except the wifi signal which was terribly poor. The place is really cool but the location is a bit far from city center. Rooms were clean and the kitchen had almost everything needed... More

First the accommodation: I stayed in a cabin for two. It includes two beds, a table, two chairs and two blankets. You can rent the bedding for 5€ plus 5€ deposit. All this for 35€/night. The cabin was very clean and it has one lamp and a electric plug with a maximum output of 2 ampers. You can use the... More

Really great to be staying here: 1. Nice environment, very calm 2. Cheap 3. Very friendly owner 4. Nice shop with minimum of products, but opened at Sunday morning Small word of advice, if you're planning on visiting the city center, the easiest way is to bring a bicycle and to ride yourself (8km), public transport gets rather expensive (only...
