Spent two nights here with a friend and we both loved it. It is easy to get to by bus from the airport, and within cycling distance of the city. It's a quiet, idyllic setting surrounded by a lovely forest and canals. We loved being able to rent bikes from the office in the morning, and the kitchen had plenty... More

Very beautiful location, we rented a bike (10 euro a day) and we reached amsterdam centrum in about 45 min ;) the camping is very beautiful and well equipped but you have to pay for everything: hot shower (1euro) bed linen and towels (5 euro each one) and also toilet paper. The man in the reception is not so nice,... More

I spent very little time actually in the hostel, mainly because Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities I have visited. Also because it's not really a hostel. The rooms are sheds with beds, and everything costs money, EVERYTHING! That being said the rooms were clean and with four people in a room there is no need to pay... More

We have stayed in plenty of camping places in Europe but never one like this: - no toilet paper is supplied in toilets (not informed of this before arrival) - fine to pay for showers but money would be easier than having to go to office all the time for tokens; same for washers/driers - Eco lodges are lovely, but... Had a great few days in amsterdam and spent very little time at the hostel, mainly because of the ridiculous costs incrued while there (re: paying for showers, toilet paper, matches to turn on the stoves, etc). Additionally, the bathrooms were rairly cleaned and didn't provide soap or toilet paper. At the beginning of our stay, we rented sheets for... More

"Be nice or go away" this is what is written on an inside wall of the reception. We arrived there late before Kings day this year, the reception was closed but they had left the key for us. They hadn't left us any bedsheets neither the key needed to turn on the heating system. It was so cold that we... More

The staff was unfriendly, they only care about money. You have to pay for the shower, fir the heater, bed linen, even the paper toilet! The cabins were okay. The worst thing was the distance: the bus is 5 euros single ticket to go to Amsterdam because the camping it is not in Amsterdam. If you want to take a... More

The location is very poor, it took more than an hour to get to the city center. Bathroom and kitchen are filthy and you have to pay extra for everything - heating in the cold hut, hot shower, even toilet paper and matches to light gas in the kitchen. The worst thing is the owner, who apparently has serious mental... More

Campsite is within easy cycling distance of Amsterdam so can't complain there. However I was very annoyed at having to pay extra for showers and toilet roll once we had paid 30 euros per night for a very small caravan. Also the "free wifi" that is "campsite wide" did not reach a very large portion of the campsite, and soon... More

This place is fine for the flat rate of the room, but they charge you one euro for a shower token which is six minutes of less than lukewarm water. They also charge you for toilet paper and heating in the room. The owner was a little rude and obnoxious but not overly frustrating. This place is located quite far... More
