Rather small and calm hotel. If you are expecting some fun you will be dissapointed. The localisation is ok, wonderful view but far away from Funchal and "real life". You can stay at hotel or go for a walk to small town (not very interesting) and that's all. When you want to go to a trip, it always takes you... more

Probably my worst holiday ever. The hotels public areas were clean, though the reception staff were most unhelpful. Booked a sea view room, told on arrival one not available. Were moved to one on day 4 of holiday. Food was almost tasteless and looked uninviting. Location isolated and far from Funchal. Our first room smelled of urine though it did... more
