Directly by the eating area and of the balconies/ rooms from, you have direct A view of a large waterhole. There is also a wooden hochsteg, the other smaller waterholes leads. Of... More

This hotel has the best service ever.the friendly atmosphere as you enter their mists welcomes you with warm hugs that make you want to stay longer. The grin from ear to ear plastered on the smartly dressed staff reminded me of my all time favourite cat in 'Alice in Wonderland. Every morning you are greeted with nature as you open... More

I did not stay here as an overnight guest so am uncertain what the rooms are like. I visited for lunch in January 2015, I was on an organised day trip with DM Tours and Safaris based in Diani. The 85 usd paid for our trip to the Shimba hills game reserve included lunch at this lodge. My first impression... More

You owe to yourself if visiting Diani or Mombasa to spend a night at the Lodge, followed by a game drive through Shimba Hills NR. It's a nice break from the beach scene ! The Lodge had recently undergone a management change when we visted in late Oct. 2014. We stayed in one of the suites, roomy and clean, found... More

Great location and very friendly staff- only problem is hotel has been sold we think as stocks very low. Although bar"open until we go to bed" there was nothing to drink - even went for the sherry. Chef also very heavy handed on salt. Rooms basic but functional.

Had lunch here which was 25 Dollars per person for a 3 course set lunch. It was not possible to eat it, the quality was so bad. My advice is if your are going to Shimba Hills park, bring a packed lunch with you for the day. Well worth a visit to see the actual hotel itself but that's it.

Dear Guest, Thank you for finding time to share your feedback on trip advisor. Most visitors in the park compliment their visit by having lunch at the lodge and feedback has always been commendable. We do regret that on the day of your visit lunch was not up to standard which led to your comment on the same. I would... More
