I thought my wife had written a comment about Fern Cottage as she did all the research and found it and made the booking - she hadn't and so I thought I should as it was such a wonderful place. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay - excellent room and food to die for - recommended to anyone who wants a great... More

We stayed at Fern Cottage this last weekend on a birthday treat for my wife. We really enjoyed our stay and the owners Pete and Sue excelled themselves. The Rosemary room was fantastic with a lovely comfortable bed, a small conservatory with views over the length of the garden to Siston Hall, and a lovely clean en-suite. The breakfasts were... More

Lovely welcome, clean and well appointed room/en-suite. Superb views from our room, quality bed & bedding. Breakfasts to die for, lots of choices, great attention to detail, you'd be silly to stay anywhere else when travelling in this region. Puts a few 5 Star Hotels to shame. You can tell why they have so many awards. Thanks Sue and Pete.... More

Recently stayed for 2 nights while attending our daughter's wedding. Perfect from start to finish, could not of wished for better accommodation or choice of breakfast, devilled kidneys were awesome. Very friendly owners, excellent value for money.

Stayed at this B&B back in September last year, and it was truly excellent. The room was clean, cosy, with stunning views across the paddock and countryside. The breakfast was outstanding, everything sourced locally and cooked to perfection. The owners couldn't do enough for you, even letting us keep our champagne in their fridge to keep cool. They were so... More

The best use of a pin on a list of B&Bs ever. We arrived at Fern Cottage late afternoon to a warm greeting from Sue. My wife and I were shown to our room(Rosemary) what a delightful room. The attention to detail was amazing. Sue's local knowledge came in handy when choosing a restaurant for our first evening meal. Breakfast... More

We stayed for 7 nights with Sue and Pete during our 7 week holiday in the UK, and we could not have been treated any better. The facilities were superb and as hosts Sue and Pete made us feel like family. The homemade Jams were a treat at breakfast, and I have not tasted better bacon. Could not have asked... More

I stayed at fern Cottage with my husband, mother in law and parents. It was perfect accommodating all of us. Upon arrival, Sue greeted us and showed us to our rooms. Each room was nicely decorated and comfortable. We then were given tea, coffee and amazing scones and cream that Sue had made herself. She showed us to the central... More

My wife & I stayed at Fern Cottage for two nights in September during our driving holiday through the South West of England and we could have stayed longer. Sue & Pete were very generous hosts and made us feel very welcome, we left feeling like we were old friends. The home made breakfasts were divine and we have not... More
