Six of us stayed at the George whilst visiting friends in St.Neots near Cambridge. We had three rooms and although we all paid the same price the rooms were of varying size. All were of an acceptable standard and clean. Tea making facilities were not available in the rooms but free tea and coffee is served in the rooms on... More

Good quality food and menu selection good. Service let it down, plenty of staff that seem uncoordinated/ managed. Had to interrupt a 3 way staff conversation to place order. Asked for a bill twice, after 15 mins gave up and went to bar, no surprise bill not ready. Will go back due to location and food. Better leadership / management... More

We celebrated my father-in-laws 90th birthday with a family meal and stayed over night. The hotel could not have been more helpful. My daughter has a diary allergy and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the chef. The meal was fantastic and when certain items needed to be changed because of the dairy allergy, it was no... More

Lovely hotel that lives up to it's name George with all the guest rooms named after a famous George. A test in the morning whilst eating their perfectly cooked, high quality sausage, bacon etc is to try and remember all the names. Complimentary newspapers and early morning tea and coffee are much appreciated as, unusually, there are no tea and... More

A very nice hotel in the middle of a small village with a sunny beer garden and good restaurant. Well equipped modern rooms with friendly attentive service. Food and drink tends to be a little expensive, the breakfast was freshly cooked to order

We visited on a Saturday, booking for lunch. We were shopping at Anne Furbank, love that shop. The restaurant was empty but the bar adjacent was noisy with a wedding party. The Assistant Manager showed us to our table. The table was near the noisy bar and in the middle of two thoroughfares. We asked to be seated elsewhere but... More

We had saturday lunch here, ordering from the table d´hôte menu provided, which has a selection of 5 starters, main ands desserts. It's £20 for two courses, or £25 for three. We'd booked in advance, and were taken to a table which is essentially slap bang in the middle of a thoroughfare to the bar area. Since the restaurant was... More

My husband and I held our wedding here on the 24th May, it all turned out fantastic thanks to the staff and especially Sam the assistant manager.
