Wonderful food in a lovely dining room . Room pokey but clean. Continental breakfast left fridge in the room but only place to eat it was sitting on the bed. My advice would be enjoy a meal there but stay elsewhere

Stopped for a night using the B&B at the Black Bull. Very comfortable en suite room. Continental breakfast in room's fridge. Ate in the restaurant and had best fish and chips for am long time. All well worth the price. Friendly and helpful staff and secure parking area. Would use again.

My husband and I went to Godmanchester to meet up with relatives from Holland. they choose the venue and the lunch was delicious. We had never been to this area so we booked a room for 2 days, we wish we had stayed elsewhere! the room was clean but tiny. More suitable as a single than a double. On booking in... More

Called in about 2pm last Saturday looking for lunch. Lovely warm welcome and quickly seated at a nice table near the window. Difficult choices on the menu as it all looked so good. 2 of us had the slow roasted belly pork which was nothing short of fantastic and 2 of our party had the award winning chicken, leek and... Staff really friendly 3 corse meal £16.00 delightful and the Scottish roast beef just melts in your mouth all I would say is I'd of liked alittle more because I'm a greedy piggy! The pub is well keped and clean and has a lovely open fire a warm and friendly atmosphere and if were ever in the area again would... More

Visited after seeing a comment on FB about the reopening and how it had changed. Nice relaxing environment. .tastefully done and very welcoming staff. Having looked at the website were not sure whether it was our sort of place as appeared to be a 'pie and a pint' , 'burger in a bun' sort of pub. Not the case. .That... More

Average service, average food (could work on presentation) Young lad we were served by needs to speak up, my partner was having to repeat to me. Restaurant is in a good location, and the ambience is very inviting. Overall just average, could be better!

I booked a table here on the 26th January to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. There were 10 of us and we all had a lovely meal from the lunch menu which was 2 courses for £9.95. Portions were a good size and very tasty. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. It has had a very... More

I went here for dinner a few days ago and i must say it was lovely. The service was very friendly and the food hit the right spot! Large portions, cooked to perfection. There is a lovely open fire which makes it cozy for a winter's evening. I will definitely be visiting again!

I'm usually willing to give places a benefit of doubt but the meal out we had here was very below standard. The food looked like it had been left standing for a long time and some of the deserts weren't cooked properly. But we were a large party so I can sort of understand to some extent. But the main...
