Perfect weekend away in a beautiful B&B. Hosts were so lovely and attentive and served the most delicious cakes and tea upon arrival. Stayed with my parents last year and when needing a break from work this year my boyfriend begged me to book in with Christine and Richard! Very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly hosts, beautiful rooms with every neccessity to hand, perfect location for all the nearby attractions.... plus the most amazing breakfasts. Why would you go anywhere else??

We stayed three nights and everything was tip top. The welcome was wam and hospitality was unstinting. Our room was elegant and spotless. The shared lounge was stocked with up to date local information and maps - great as the area is fantastic for walking. On top of all that, the breakfast was fantastic!! Can't recommend enough.

We booked for two nights B & B at Number One and we arrived late afternoon. We had to cut short our stay because of family problems, but our hosts could not have been more understanding. While we were there we were superbly looked after. The room was lovely, the choice of food at breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed the perfect short break.

Spacious room and a warm welcome. The house is light and bright and spotlessley clean. We were welcomed with home baking in the guests lounge, which is large and comfortable.
