A five minute walk to the shuttle buses, information center, and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the dam, make this the perfect location. for a visit to Mont St Michel. Our room was comfortable, immaculately clean, and outfitted with three beds. Alicia is extremely kind and personable. Breakfast in the morning was very good. It included yogurt, juices,... More

My husband and I spent a night at La Jacotière, what a great find! The B&B is literally right before the gate to the village. I'm so glad I found it, as most hotels in the village are far more spendy. We stayed upstairs in the Romantique room, which overlooks the street but has a black-out shade over the window.... More

This is a very lovely Bed & Breakfast, as close to Mont St. Michele as you can get without being on the island. The visitor center and tram to the island are a short walk, and yes, you do have a view of the Abbey from this B&B. Of course I did have some trouble finding the place, but I... More

First the pros: Great location if you're visiting Mont St. Michel. 5 minute walk to the bus stop and all the restaurants/hotels in the area. There is a stunning view, both during the day and and at night of the Abby. Very picturesque. Nightly rate was reasonable compared to the hotels in the area. The cons: The room my husband... More

This B&B is a great location to see the Mont and Abbey. As previously reviewed, the room was well presented, clean and had a large, very modern bathroom/ensuite with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The free shuttle service and a number of restaurants and a large supermarket 5-10 minutes walk away. We ate at La Rotisserie... More

My husband and I stayed at La Jacotiere last week. We heeded the excellent advice to see Mont St. Michel towards the end of the day and decided in advance to stay overnight in the area. We arrived at 3, left our car in the B&B's parking lot, and walked from La Jacotiere to Mont St. Michel - about 40... More

This is indeed the place to stay if you are visiting Mont St Michel. The accommodation is great, very clean with new bathroom fittings...Alicia and Gerard are a lovely young couple and very eager to make their guests feel very welcome. Breakfast with lovely fresh croissants, baguette and jam orange juice and wonderfully strong coffee served on French Provincial china... More

Loved this B&B! The hosts are very friendly, and email communication was quick and helpful. It is well located for either walking to catch the shuttle bus or just walking the causeway to Mont St Michel. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance also. The price made it a perfect value. The rooms were comfortable with adequate space.... More

All in all, Mont Saint Michel is a very touristy place to visit. A bit tacky as lonely planet put it. But the charm of arriving by car at dusk while the lights lit the abbey and surrounding village paid off. The B&B is run by an extremely kind couple who manage to help you in every way. They will... La Jacotiere is a very close to the visitor information center and free shuttle bus station, just a few seconds walk. If you are going to visit Mont St. Michel, it is not necessary to park your car in the public car park, because it is very expensive, EUR12 per day! You just park your car in La Jacotiere, and...
