Another Alastair Sawday find for us, and a fantastic one. We'd been driving all day, so the visit we had at Les Blotteries was perfect. The farm itself was very pretty, with quiet old stone buildings and horses in the pasture. The host Jean-Malo (and his wonderful dog, Mme Plume!) treated us like family from the moment we arrived, making... more

M. Tizon is an excellent host and Les Blotteries is a wonderful place. There are horses, cats and dogs for the youngsters to enjoy, and friendly conversation, lovely rooms, excellent breakfasts and home made jam as well. A great start to our Brittany holiday. more

I highly recommend Les Blotteries. We stayed here for one night while visiting Mont-St-Michel in June 2009. The proximity allowed us to see Mont-St-Michel at 10 PM, when it was quiet. My entire family enjoyed this B&B, and we had reluctant teenagers (at first). M. Tizon is a wonderful, friendly host. You can practice your French. Or M. Tizon speaks... more

We stayed there for two days, and everything was perfect. The warm and friendly Jean-Malo made our breakfast wonderful (in addition to the good French quality food). He was chatting n every morning and provided all type of maps, suggestions etc...Superb host. Regarding the cottage was nice, with an upstairs floor in case you travel with kids (it has one... more

We are four Australians who stayed at les Blotteries on July 28, 2008 after a visit to Mont St Michel. We were late arriving and it was raining. Jean Malo hurried out to greet and assist us and was warm and generous in his hospitality. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. We also loved his cat! Thank you Jean... more

We stayed at Les Blotteries with our two teenage children on our stop to Mont Saint Michel. The estate consists of a manor house dating back to the french revolution and converted stables and barn. The B&B rooms are not located in the main house. Our room, Les écuries, has one queen size bed and toilet and shower on the... more

Going purely on a Tripadvisor recommendation I booked Les Blotteries directly from the website after seeing the excellent reviews and photos of the rooms. My family & I were not disappointed. Monsieur Tizon, Madame Plume (le chien) & Mimi (le chat) were there to meet us on arrival and our son, aged 16 months, fell in love with the place... more

An old 1700 mansion in the country. It was clean, and spacious. Friendly Jean-Malo was a treat. The room was huge and charming. A definite recommendation for anyone going to Mont St. Michelle. We went from the Beauvais airport, rented a car, and drove up to Mont St. Michelle before spending the evening here. Then, visited the Normandie beaches driving... more

We arrived at Les Blotteries around 7pm,very tired and wet after a day getting soaked at the Normandy beaches to be welcomed by a very jolly Jean-Malo and Madame La Pompe (their gorgeous dog)who permanently kept the doormat warm. Our room (Les Ecuries) was lovely with a newly added loft. Jean-malo gave us a very good recommendation for dinner-Le Lion... more
