We've stayed here before, & like the contemporary decor, & views of harbour or sea (or both) from most rooms. This time we booked late & they only had a small double, but it was adequate for 1 night stopover. It was clean, & the shower was good and hot. We paid extra for the breakfast as it is nice... More

We stayed 3 nights in Villa Marine, at the beginning of october, and we were happy with our stay. Very friendly people, very good resto, quiet room with sea view. Our room was big enough, because we payed a bit more to have a bigger one.It is a 2 star hotel, so don't expect a 5 star room. You know... More

This hotel is on the opposite side of the harbour from the main town by the railway station. Easy parking and friendly staff. The room was a bit on the small side for a double but was acceptable. Good view over the harbour, there was a good dinner menu and pricing was reasonable. Breakfast was good but latecomers would have... More

Upon our return journey from the black forest in Germany we decided to break the 11 hour trip on the French coast . Having done our research we decided on Villa Marine in Tresport on the Alabaster Coast mainly for it's location. Having arrived we were greeted @ checking by 2 people who spoke no english ( in spite of... More

The hotel was not bad, especially considering the fact that we had a promotional offer (through Sunjets) of Pay 2 - Stay 3 nights in half board. We booked a superior room with bath and with view over the sea and this request was granted. However, the superior room was not very luxurious. It was considerably larger than the standard... More

We thank you for your rather positive word... Nowadays, it is taken for granted to criticize in détails hotel and restaurant services...however, I would like to mention right a few things : Quality of restaurant : there are indeed a lot of restaurant all around which propose menu from 14€ or less....the quality of cuisine is not the same as... The recently re-opened rail link to Eu is ideal if you are arriving by train. The hotel is situated just outside the station and for travellers by car there is ample free street parking. It is an 11 minute walk to the town centre. On arrival I was informed that Le Tour de France was due in town the next... More

We just stayed for two nights in La Villa Marine and enjoyed it very much. Charming, well maintained and clean hotel with friendly though heavily multi-tasking staff. The suite we had was definitely spacious, clean and had a beautiful view over the harbour and the cliff. The room was light, even the bathroom was quite big and had windows. The... More

We stayed at La Villa Marine in july 2011, with our little kid. The hotel is well decorated, the location is good, and the views are nice. Our room was big and clean. However : - one person at the front desk was really awful. - we had to change room because the first one was smelling like cigarette. -... More

La Villa Marine is one of two hotels located next to one another in this somewhat run-down small French coastal town. It is situated next to the quiet railway station which is like something out of Proust (a little over 3 hours to Paris is advertised). One hotel is painted/ decorated in reds and attracts immediate attention while la Villa-Marine... More
