This is a beaufitul group of old Norman buildings, within a large enclosure, which have been tastefully restored into a very attractive hotel. I don't think there is a restaurant but they serve a decent buffet breakfast. It is tucked in below the square with the Mairie.

We spent 6 nights here in mid August - the stay was enjoyable and relaxed. The room was large and comfortable - very adequate for 3 people. The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant - happy to advise about restaurants, book tables and suggest alternatives when a restaurant was closed. Breakfast was a real highlight with local cheeses, choices of... More

This is a great find in a pretty town with a lot of history. A visit to the Abbey is essential. Super staff, nice modern facilities in a classic Norman style. Nice pool and spa. Breakfast excellent. They do not serve dinner, so you have choices of expensive nouvelle cuisine a short walk or more modest and more food, a... More

3 guys who took 3 rooms for 3 nights, using as a base for tour of Normandy. Hotel looks great on the pictures but just needs the fine details polishing in reality. This is an independent/ family run?? establishment and the lack of professional management is what ultimately lets the place down from great to good e.g. house keeping, the... More

This luxury hotel is located in a splendid area near the Seine and famous ruins. The hotel has a heated pool. The rooms are spacious and quiet; please ask one with AC. The staff is friendly. But they tried to get us to a very expensive restaurant claiming that it was difficult to find a decent place to have dinner... More

Stayed here for one night on our way back from the Le Mans 24hr race. Quiet hotel in the lovely village of Jumieges. Rooms are very well appointed and quiet all set within a short walk of the shops and restaurants of Jumieges, as well as the imposing Abbey. Breakfast was simple, but very fresh and filling. Hope to return... More

This looks a luxurious setting, but is lacking in certain areas. I find it hard to understand that French Hotels do not supply a simple tea and coffee making service. Much preferable to an expensive mini bar. It's a long walk for breakfast, thank goodness it wasn't raining. Breakfast average

The hotel is in the small village of Jumiege which is known for its abbey built by William the Conqueror. It is in a quiet setting a few minutes walk from the village center. The Auberge de Ruines restaurant in Jumieges is worth a detour and being an easy drive from CDG airport makes for a good place to stay... More

The Hotel was perfectly suited for our 3 night stay with visits to see Manet's gardens at Giverny ( excellent and not too busy), the Cathedral in Rouen (disappointing as covered in scaffolding) and the Abbey ruins in Jumieges itself (not to be missed). It is close to the Seine(10 mins walk) and there are many small free ferries that... More

Have just returned back from family trip to Le clos des fontaines hotel. Visited with my parents, husband and son. Hotel was lovely in pretty village. Staff were very helpful even emailing me in advance suggesting local restaurant for dinner during our stay. (Hotel only has a bar and just serves breakfast). Restaurant recommended as lovely and overlooked The Seine.... More
