Stayed here for one night on our way back from the Le Mans 24hr race. Quiet hotel in the lovely village of Jumieges. Rooms are very well appointed and quiet all set within a short walk of the shops and restaurants of Jumieges, as well as the imposing Abbey. Breakfast was simple, but very fresh and filling. Hope to return... More

This looks a luxurious setting, but is lacking in certain areas. I find it hard to understand that French Hotels do not supply a simple tea and coffee making service. Much preferable to an expensive mini bar. It's a long walk for breakfast, thank goodness it wasn't raining. Breakfast average

The hotel is in the small village of Jumiege which is known for its abbey built by William the Conqueror. It is in a quiet setting a few minutes walk from the village center. The Auberge de Ruines restaurant in Jumieges is worth a detour and being an easy drive from CDG airport makes for a good place to stay... More

The Hotel was perfectly suited for our 3 night stay with visits to see Manet's gardens at Giverny ( excellent and not too busy), the Cathedral in Rouen (disappointing as covered in scaffolding) and the Abbey ruins in Jumieges itself (not to be missed). It is close to the Seine(10 mins walk) and there are many small free ferries that... More

Have just returned back from family trip to Le clos des fontaines hotel. Visited with my parents, husband and son. Hotel was lovely in pretty village. Staff were very helpful even emailing me in advance suggesting local restaurant for dinner during our stay. (Hotel only has a bar and just serves breakfast). Restaurant recommended as lovely and overlooked The Seine.... More

We visited the hotel on August 2014, the hotel itself is beautiful place to visit with swimming pool and spa. The village is beautiful to visit also. After reporting the problem with wifi in our room with the manager, as it was expensive hotel I expected that the manager would try to deal with it as wifi was included in... More

Lovely first class room and grounds , beautiful place , we had the cheapest room at 100 euro per night but it was lovely , the village is not that great in the way of restaurants and bars , nothing was open at night only a couple of hours during the day ! We actually went a whole day without... More

No gates to lock at night and nothing to prevent drunks entering the grounds in the small hours, as happened to us. We were very vulnerable in gound floor room. No number to telephone and nobody on reception after 11pm. When we mentioned our broken night the next day, there was a distinct lack of concern and interest and no... More

Le Clos des Fontaines is a modern yet architecturally in-keeping hotel/resort in Jumieges. Set back from the main road it can be a challenge to locate as you need to negotiate through the narrow back streets of Jumieges. The hotel offer a high standard of rooms which are clean and very well appointed. Although the resort boasts a Spa the... More

This was to be our base during our 4day visit to Ruane and Normandy.. It's a long way to the coast, but that was our fault. This is really an upmarket B&B with a fabulous spa. The rooms weren.t great, light bulbe missing, a tub that didn't work properly, a fruit tree almost blocking the entrance to our room. The mini... More
