Madame is a marvellous cook. We had delightful meals using the local apple based products and were liberally supplied with wine as well. Breakfast with home made crepes, cake and jam with good bread was a treat. A few minor design faults prevent a 5* score eg difficult to negotiate narrow & steep stairs with luggage, poor lighting in bedroom... More

We stayed here after visiting the wonderful abbey nearby back in mid October. Francoise cooked us a delicious dinner, with wine for just £25.00 per head and we enjoyed the company of 2 other couples at the same large kitchen table. The detail here, such as the attention to towels with little cherrys on them, showed how much our hosts... More

A lovely chambre d'hote for our first nights stay in France. The hosts were very friendly and also very kind to our 7 month old daughter. If you travel with a family it makes a huge difference to have people who are welcoming and kind to your children. Our room was large and nicely furnished and was very light. It... More

We had a ground floor room for one night at the end of our own 10 day 'Tour de France.' Plain but comfortably furnished with tea making facilities, easy outdoor access to our room and a lovely location. Hosts were welcoming, other guests were Dutch and Italian and we all ate together that night for the table d'hote which was... More

En route south or coming back north this "Chambre d'Hôte" is perfectly situated and provides a comfortable bed, tea making facilities, modern bathroom and private access to room and, importantly, safe car parking outside the rooms. We took advantage of the table d'hôte which was perfectly prepared and served. Absolutely delicious and just what we needed after a 7 hour... More

Pros: 1) Excellent hostess 2) Excellent home cooking, semi-gastronomic 3) Peaceful, quiet location in Lower Normandy Cons: steep stair to 2nd floor All in all excellent choice for a restful vacation base to explore Normandy (Honfleur, Etretat, Rouen, etc...). Hostess is very helpful in directing you to interesting places to visit and also is an excellent cook.

We stayed here summer 2012 and it is no reflection on the owner as to the lateness of this review. Madame does not speak English but was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us good on sightseeing tips eg where to park in Rouen. Breakfast and Dinners were excellent. Vegetables straight from the garden; home-made cakes and puddings plus lots... More

We spent two nights here late September and really enjoyed this lovely under-rated area. Having visited many areas of France over the years, we think the Seine-Maritime region is almost as nice as the Loire. The B&B was clean and well-presented with tea & coffee making facilities in the room, plus a hair dryer. The owner was very welcoming -... More

This was the first time I had stayed at a Chambre d'Hote and I was very impressed. The room is the same standard as a good hotel with ensuite etc and a much lower cost particularly as it includes a good breakfast. Free parking and near Jumieges, an important ancient abbey site, and also near the Seine and Rouen, and... More
