What a fabulous place to stay, the tartaruga has been beautifully renovated and is in a quiet part of the town. Excellent value and very well appointed, we wished we could have stayed longer. Explore the roof terrace, there are wonderful views down the coast. This is a special place and we will definitely return

I cannot fault anything. We had a wonderful visit, I only wish we could have stayed longer. The place and room are nice, the bed was amazingly comfortable, the WiFi was excellent. Breakfast was fine and Diego and his mother were lovely.

We saw a review of Marettimo in the Daily Telegraph and it mentioned La Tartaruga. It is really a special place at the top of a hill away from the centre of town, but is only a short walk. The rooms are really very clean and very nicely furnished, with bathrooms well up to standard with showers, toilet and bidet.... More

We spent 2 wonderful nights at this B&B, great location and just far enough away from the center of town to enjoy a nice peaceful sleep. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and very very clean, also, the internet is very solid every where on the property, the rooftop deck is a great place to chill and suntan or... More

Marettimo is a beautiful, small and secluded place where everyone knows everyone. No where is this more true than at La Tartaruga. Diego, the young, fun owner runs a very clean and modern B&B where most of the furniture and design is his own. Clean, cool (very important as the heat can be incredible), La Tartaruga is a great place... More

This recently renovated B&B is the best value for money on Marettimo. The rooms are modern, comfortable and spotless. The bathrooms were especially nice with large showers. The 4-5 rooms available can accommodate couples, families and small groups. There is also a fully equipped shared kitchen and wonderful patio for eating breakfast outdoors. The owner, Diego di Girolamo, speaks excellent... More
