We booked this hotel because it is the closest hotel to Hohenzollern castle which is a pretty impressive castle. It looks kinda like Hogwarts. This hotel also has a good restaurant on the main level close to where check in is. We only stayed one night and only stayed here to see the castle. We had a pretty spacious room... More

It's very close to the castle, perhaps the closest hotel to the castle. However, getting there by public transport is not easy. We walked almost 1 hour at night to get there, so you can either rent a car or take a taxi, which costs around 10 euro. At the hotel, staffs were friendly and can speak English. Breakfast was... This is a quaint beautiful hotel in Hechengen, Germany, in the Burg Hohenzollern area. Friendly staff is very helpful and courteous. I recommend staying for dinner and trying the wild game plate. For reservations I suggest using www.brielhof.de or info@brielhof.de

Pretty awesome to open my eyes to the view of clouds rolling by the castle! Great service, comfortable room and very nice restaurant on prem. loved the old squeaky floors in the halls and the old portraits. The onlynegative was the road noise.

This charming old inn / hotel has been in the same family for generations. The hotel is situated at the base of the Hohenzollern castle which sits on top of a very high hill and is a very dramatic sight. The rooms are clean and adequate , not modern , but comfortable. The breakfast service is very acceptable with eggs,... More

The location for Hohenzollern can't be beat - it's literally 5 minutes away & looks like you could walk to the castle. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The food @ the restaurant was incredible so if you stay here, definitely eat here! We had 2 different rooms. I was in a single & it was like a tiny... More

The location is great if, like us, your sole reason to visit is Hohenzollern or if you're pulling in off the highway. If travelling by train, we recommend you take a taxi from the train station for 12€ and not attempt to walk the hour, all uphill, carrying backpacks, like we did. Lesson learned. The lobby does not appear as... More

It's a tradition with the Hentsch family to deliver the superlative service. If the highway bothers you, ask for a room in the back but don't miss this superb country inn. And the food is to die for. Ask for the fish in cream sauce... You'll think you died and went to Heaven!

We got to this hotel after a long drive from Nuremberg - which was a pleasant drive. We chose it, above all, due to it being situated literally at the foot of Burg Hohenzoller. Finding the hotel was not an easy task because the GPS took us to a totally wrong place. However, the problem is not with the hotel... More

The hotel is situated directly at the motorway. We had a room facing the same and it was impossible to sleep through the night, even with the windows closed. It was also very warm in the room, although the heaters were turned all the way down. The menu sounded very good, however, overpriced. I would not pay 19 EUR for... More
