Hi, this hotel was not available our first night, but soon as the weekend madness was over we saw our opportunity and moved. Our room was great. It was quite large, had good lighting, a balcony and private bath. The water did go off completely while my husband was showering but he survived. The hotel would be very noisy on... More

Maybe this is one of the best places in Canoa at the front of the sea. If you like the paceful this hotek is for you, you don't have TV and the wifi acces is limited, the sightviews are beatiful. Only a good place!!!

After being told we wouldn't find a hotel with hot water on the beach we walked into la Vista hotel and found this to be untrue. The location is ideal as it is far enough away from the (small) main drag so that you are not kept up all night long but still close enough that it is less than... More

We needed a quiet place to rest and enjoy the beach during the holidays. Although Canoa is now full of young tourists from all over the World, this hotel is far away from the noise, but close enough if you feel the need to party. Most rooms have a balcony, a hammock, and a view to the beach, which was... More

A friend and i stayed at La Vista hotel in January 2012 after seeing horrible room at others hostel/hotels in town. We were suppose to stay only one night but ended staying 6 nights (we bargain the rate a little). The room was very clean, with a nice balcony with the view on the ocean. They cleaned the room every... More

Firstly, don't expect anyone to speak english here. Also, don't expect a restaurant. Beyond that, it's great. Rooms were clean. $30 per night got us a 3rd floor room with a balcony and hammock and crazy view of the ocean. 22 oz. beers for $1.50 and right on the playa. Clean, safe, comfortable. No mosquito nets though, so bring your... More

This was my first trip to Canoa. I checked out numerous hostels/hotels for price & accommodations for me and my friend. This was the only hotel that did not smell of mold. Most of the other hostels were all sealed up and the odor was more than I could handle. The rooms here had an opening at the top as... More

I absolutely enjoyed having a nice view of the beach but for me it was somewhat cold in June which is fine. I thought the staff was very friendly and wonderful. They were professional and respectful especially since I was there with my professor learning Spanish. The breakfast was great and they did have something for the vegetarian/vegan also a... More

Apart from a great location this hotel is nothing but average and service is definitly lacking quality. Room wasn't cleaned in 2 days. Staff claimed to have forgotten. Part of the staff is very helpfull but the other half is just plain unfriendly. WIFI is availible and functioning in room.
