I've often had good luck with hotels doing construction; snagged a room at the Beverly Hills Sofitel dirt cheap due to a lobby renovation. I thought this might be a similar situation and at first it seemed like it. The complex has grand plans and the several buildings that are complete awe with a neo-Napa Valley wine country splendor: big... More

We arrived in Santiago, and chose to drive to Valparaiso. But stopped off at the hotel Casablanca. Rustic, with a warm welcome. Excellent starting point for a wine tour of the Casablanca valley. enjoyed our short stay very much. We'd stay again.

We stayed here for one night, in the "Late Harvest" room. It was a large room, but really needs some updating and TLC. Broken and missing tiles in bathroom, oddly matched furniture, and worst of all - no hot water in the shower!! They are in the process of making an entirely new building, so if it matches up with... I must say I had very high expectations from the place mainly after a visit in Bento Golçalves in Brazil, but Casablanca is still under development. I wouldn't recommend this place as a Hotel, but as a place where you can schedule your wedding party or the end of year party of your company. The infrastructure is nice, with a... More

I recently had a civil marriage in Casablanca...at 9am! It was too early for wine tasting so we called Hotel Casablanca and they arranged the most lovely brunch for our group of 10 (pastries, sandwiches, fruit, coffee/tea). They also provided champagne for a toast and cupcake wedding favors! The hotel has a beautiful and rustic restaurant and relaxing outdoor area... More

My parents were visiting from the US and I had a short vacation time, so we decided to stay at this hotel because the location was convenient for where we wanted to travel (Valparaiso/Santiago). I suppose that winter would be the off-season for the area, so there was some construction going on and we were told upon arrival that the... More

We rented a car with a GPS, in Santiago, and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days. The owners, are gems, very helpful and accommodating. This hotel is in the valley floor and no more that 1/2 hour drive to even the most distant winery in the valley. We enjoyed the pool, and hot tub as well... More

We arrived Dec 19th after booking this hotel for $200 per night. We had chosen this place as there was a restaurant listed but to our surprise the hotel was partially closed. The pool/spa looked like it needed to be cleaned, the restaurant was not in service, there was only one staff member on premises. The room was full of... More

Unlike the Colchagua Valley, there are few accommodation or evening dining options in the Casablanca wine region. We chose this place based on its website, and although the Tripadvisor reviews are mixed, we decided to give it a go. Although only just off the main ruta 68, the hotel is well located close to many of the vineyards and could... More

Not much is open in early November, despite all the wineries within striking distance (5-15 min by car). We were so glad we found this place! The suite we had was very cozy and actually the decòr quite original. Wifi signal was a bit weak unfortunately. Breakfast was good too. The owners are a husband and wife who were charming... More
