Norton St Philip on the outskirts of Bath is set in some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain. We needed somewhere cosy, comfortable, and with a touch of luxury, but where our little dogs would be welcome, too. Sometimes if you take pets you're automatically downgraded but that was definitely not the case here. We were in a delightful... More

This is a lovely B & B that we would highly recommend. We recieved a warm welcome from the manager, Justina, who is full of enthusiasm! and more than willing to help. The building is full of character, the rooms are clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast was excellent...what more could you ask for. A good base to explore some... More

We have just come back from spending 3 nights at The Plaine B&B. The welcome we received was warm and friendly you immediately felt at home. Justina the manager is like a breath of fresh air, and is a great asset to Steph and Giles the owners. Norton St Philip is a quaint little village with 2 lovely pubs which... More

We can't praise the Plaine highly enough - a beautiful old house in a lovely setting and a perfect base for our visits to Bath, Glastonbury, Wells and Longleat. From the warm welcome we received from Justina to the attractive, comfortable room and the great breakfasts, every aspect of our stay made us determined to visit again. We sampled both pubs... More

We were given a very warm welcome to the guesthouse and had a comfortable stay there. We had our two children with us and had no problem entertaining them at the play area and field a few minutes walk from the hotel. Norton Saint Philip is a beautiful village and we were so pleased to discover it. The only criticism... More

Incredibly welcoming hosts, gave handy advice for getting to Longleat. Quality breakfast. 2 pubs visible from the room! Chinese hat in the bathroom, made for a cheeky fun photo! Quirky house. Would recommend! :D More

Great place for a short break. We stay for 2 nights in the canopy room which was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, made by Giles who made us and our dog very welcome. More

A truly delightful guesthouse located c15/20 minutes from Bath centre. Michelle and Justina couldn't be more accommodating, even baking a birthday cake for my Dad and making our toddler and baby feel very welcome! The rooms were very spacious. The village is lovely with a nice play area for children. More
