We stayed in the Stirling room which was very nice great balcony, good sized room and kept very clean and tidy. The host Wayne was very friendly and seemed to have a good rapport with all the visitors. The breakfast was very pleasant the whether you had hot food or croissants. My only suggestion would be perhaps to offer a... More

Very quaint hotel, the manager Wayne and staff were so friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfasts and evening meal in the restaurant were very good. The hotel is clean, decorated in an eclectic style with lovely gardens and woodlands with plenty of parking. We stayed here as it was very close to a glass blowing... More

My chap surprised me with a weekend at Bath Lodge Castle, the boy done good! We had The Windsor suite and loved having a huge battlement balcony to ourselves. The room was cosy and has all you need to relax. It is a shame that it is on a busy road but do not let that put you off as... More

We visited for a night before a trip to Bath the next day. Location is excellent with a 15 min drive to the centre of Bath. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable and quirky. Our bathroom was in a turret !!. We also took advantage of the hot tub outside which was a nice added... More

I have never had such a wonderful experience at any hotel anywhere ever, period. The building is beautiful: a cute little castle surrounded by woods. Inside is both impressive and delightful. The decor is beautiful and full of quirky little surprises, like the room at the bottom of a turret that's been made into one giant round sofa, or the... More

We stayed as two couples for two nights in April. My pal was celebrating his 60th birthday and, being disabled, had the Whitstable room and we had the room next door, Dover. Both rooms were decorated to a very high standard and were very clean and well presented, had TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Shampoo and soap were provided as... More

Went there with my girlfriend for 1 night to visit bath. Location is about 15 min outside of bath but it is worth it if you are by car. It's a very nice and romantic place with great restaurant and super friendly staff. Also they have a hot tub and sauna in outdoor in the forest.

Needed to get away for a peaceful weekend. My husband had seen this hotel on a web sight so we booked it with fairly short notice. Our room was the Dorset, with a four poster bed. Looked fairly impressive ,but you wouldn't have known you were in a castle! The shower room is very tasteful. Nicely decorated and big. One small criticism... More

Thank you Karen, Mike and Wayne for making our stay and our son's birthday so memorable. The Lodge room (we had Leeds/Edinburgh) was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and each day they remembered what we like. The afternoon tea and lunch were again fresh and delicious. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant for... More

We had our wedding ceremony at Bath Lodge Castle and the experience was everything and more. The owners, Karen and Mike were more than gracious in helping us out. They made us feel like we were staying in their grand home. Karen is well travelled and sat and talked with us, built a fire in the fireplace and drank wine... More
